Same here for the Q 17... ordered 10/23 Las Vegas, NV. Cancel now greyed out!

Actually, UPS tracking information is different. Apple states it's being shipped with UPS via Ireland, but UPS shows it's coming via China. Apple say delivery on the 16th, UPS on the 12th! Will just have to follow it tomorrow and see what happens. Either way, it's coming.

Strange with so much variability in shipping times from order date and location in NA. I wonder if it is completely random or what? Or maybe based on payment method?

We've already seen unboxing of the 27 inch imac (dual core). The exterior is exactly the same (as is the box) so I'm not sure what you're looking for here..

My remote went from a ship date of Nov 23 and delivery date of Nov 25 to ship Nov 23 and deliver Nov 30.

I have two day shipping... maybe they think the Thanksgiving holiday will slow all shipments down.

I ordered mine the same day and still dont have a status change. I dont think your remote change will effect your shipping. But you and I might have to wait a week or 2. Sounds like most of the orders being fulfilled were placed pretty early. I hope Im wrong though, I cant wait for this damn iMac!

Very true. IMO, I suspect that unboxing photos are nothing more than living vicariously through someone else (raising your own excitement level). But you're absolutely correct, there isn't anything different on the outside except for the label on the box!
