This was an i7 with minimum 4GB memory and a keyboard with numeric keypad. The memory should come down in price in the future and will order from OWC. This will be a long month waiting for this to ship.

If you wanted to go with 8GB of memory (4x2gb), you could get the extra 4GB from Newegg for $80-85. Then wait for the price of 16GB to come down. That is what I have thought about doing.

Found this thread this morning, I too have just got notice that prepared for shipping, but too late to get expedited shipping, I called and no go as they are in CHINA.

Ordered Night of Oct 20th in Honolulu, 21st on us mainland.
Hoping to see my new iMac by next week.

Coming from a 3mo old 24" 2.93 C2D 4gig ram, 640gb hd 256mb nvidia card which I sold.

Just got a Dell 10v and put Hackintosh 10.6.2 on it, running 2gb ram, 80gb Intel SSD G2.

Looking to upgrade the i7(ordered with 4gb ram) to at least 8gb and run a 160gb Intel SSD G2 or use my 300gb Velociraptor.

I'm working on my computer at home, so I just keep hitting the refresh on my order status like a man in severe pain clicks a morphine drip. BTW, I ordered a i7 machine on 10/20 and I live in Seattle. Still waiting for something.

As an update to my post from yesterday, mine shipped out early this morning i5, stock with numeric keypad, order #w65325xxx, should be to me in Vancouver Canada next monday or Tuesday. Looks like my rationale is up to speed, you can deduce your delivery times based on that...
