Sunny and 24 today, perfect weather for golf or fishing. Instead im in the office, staring out the window wishing i was playing golf, or fishing.
That heat wave was a bit of a shock, but after the week i was used to it, now its so cold i have to put the heated seats on in the car in the morning!
Im guessing Brisvegas is always nice weather, and there is a constant supply of bikini wearing chicks walking past..
I was up there a few years ago, but there was a cyclone which made it a tad windy. Ohh no that was the gold coast, but we drove though brisvegas.
Been warm here, 30 - 33, and unfortunately there are no Bikini babes walking past my office window. Mind you I do work from home, and the Mrs might smack me upside the head if there were bikini babes. I suppose I could always ask her to throw on a bikini and stand outside. Don't think that would go over too well.
You shout the flight from Adelaide and ill come up and walk past your window in a bikini... I must warn you the colder Adelaide weather has left my skin almost transparent.. It would be like that mac desktop wallpaper where you can see the insides from the outside... Not for the feint hearted.
Yeh im guessing you might need a stonger business case for her to do that other than "some guy from radelaide suggested it on the internet"

I am still playing COD2, and plan on getting COD4 as soon as I get this baby shipped. Look forward to fragging your arse online, if we ever get our machines.
Seriously though, I can't see our Macs shipping. They are supposed to ship tonight, (24th China time / 25th our time, i think that is right) and we haven't even received a prepared notice.

My failing in those sorts of games is generally my strategy. I find the biggest machinegun i can and run around shooting it from the hip at everything.
Generally i get taken out by someone doing a strafe/backflip from somewhere and hitting me in the head with one shot. Ill never learn, not while there are machine guns to shoot from the hip anyway.

Hey! Recovery actions, what the fu*k is that about? Sounds like they going to gather a small army and do some sort of covert recovery operation into a foreign country.
its ********. it sounds like theyve dropped it in a river and have the recovery services trying to lasso it with a rope or something!
Might have sent it to the wrong destination, or it got on the wrong plane. Thats a bugger forsure!
I've had a look on a couple of other sites where people are sharing their shipping status and I'm seeing a trend where their computers are getting to Hong Kong and staying there for 3 days before showing up in Sydney. With that said, I don't think we'll see a change in status until tomorrow morning.
A 6 day turn around for an international parcel weighing 20kg is ok I guess, but it does makes you wonder why it needs to stand still for 3 days.

Me too. My order has been in Hongkong since saturday too. I called in with TNT and raised an enquiry. I just got a call back and he said that there's a delay in shipment out of HongKong. When I asked the reason he said that the 'Excess Baggage' issue. He also sent another enquiry as to whether it will be in Sydney today. He would update me again once he have the answer.

SMAPple orders (singapore) just called me and explained my order has gone missing and they cannot track it.
Thats just awesome news one day before it is meant to ship from shanghai..
