likewise. I've tried apecode a few time after I got my delivery reference number, but it showed no results every time.

According to my shipping status, i should receive the MacBook on 22nd, but I called them and they said definitely before the 21st, like my original email stated. More confusingly, when I log into my Apple account in the store, it says Dec 3rd... but according to the guy I spoke to on the phone, thats bollocks...

I ordered my SR macbook on the 7/11 and I get on my apple account in the store a delivery data of the 22/11. I hope it arrives earlier the waiting is just killing me

Yup, why is it that UK customers always seem to get the bum deal? No faster shipping... longer waits... more expensive... and its bloody cold! Soon as i've graduated i'm heading stateside.
Whats the average time for a custom MacBook to ship to the uk from China? I was told when I ordered it, that it should take 7 working days, which should be next Tuesday, do apple and their couriers not work weekends? If they did, i would get the laptop at latest this Friday.
Still, the thing thats killing me is simply not knowing whats going on! If we just had some means of tracking! Even if apecode worked and it simply said that it was sitting in some dutch warehouse, at least I would have some thing to aim my swearing at!
well, I'm not in UK, I live in a small Scandinavian country and it's even worse here. although it may only be the Apple store because it takes 5 days for a package to get here from USA (USPS Express Mail International), 2 days from UK and 7 days from Hong Kong.
and it rains 300 days a year here
Well I live in Austria and I am still waiting for my macbook. From what I have read till now all the orders from the States or Canada seam to have faster delivery time (plus they have the option for express delivery). On the other hand we Europeans have to wait bloody ages for delivery
. Apple need a factory or a stock warehouse in Europe because the waiting times are ridiculous. Imagine if you receive the macbook and is something wrong with it and you need a replacement...(another 2 to 3 weeks waiting).oh, how I wish now I bought that bloody MacBook in my local Apple retail store. 3 weeks of waiting is enough to drive me insane. and worst of all, there was no "faster shipping" option
I can not even buy the MacBook at my local retail store, as they only have in stock macbooks with German keyboard (I live in Austria). Frankly speaking i prefer to kill my self that having a German keyboard...
Ordered mine (2.2 White MB) Monday, turned up on Wednesday. Pretty happy so far.
Snappier? Probably, but then I wasn't too bothered with the speed of my previous 1.83 CD MB, especially since the jump to leopard.
Minor observations:
- What happened to my F7 display mode hotkey thingy? I used that a lot. I already have shortcuts for play/pause/forward etc using Sizzlingkeys.
- Keyboard actually feels a little flimsier than the previous one. Could just be in need of bedding in - the other one has been used daily for over a year.
- Migration assistant seemed to do fine using a time machine backup from the previous system, which is reassuring.

. My MacBook order says "Merge In Transit NL" since the 10/11. Come on apple give a hint Well im a bit annoyed with TNT, phoned them up 3 times today and they said it was on transit and that i would be getting it today, phoned up at 7pm and then told that it has not even left and gave me a crap reason saying the person that deals with Apple is ill, I can't get it tomorrow as im out so i have to wait till friday, oh well can't wait first ever Mac.
I love TNT! I ordered my SR macbook on friday evening and the next friday (in the morning), it was delivered. Great service, great macbook

Was you mac customized? Did it ship from China? And when did you get your carrier tracking number so you could find out where it was?
I ordered my Macbook on the 5th (one working day later), it shipped on the 9th (one working day later!) so i really hope its delivered one working day later! i.e. 2moro!!!

Did you ever get a tracking number during the process? Mines has not been updated since it shipped 6 days ago now.
EDIT: Did you include anything else in the package, i.e. AppleCare, Case or DVI adapter? I was wondering if that delayed my order.

No tracking number mate, no updates whatsoever since the 9th
Still says: "In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly" and "Merge in Transit GB".
As for the plane or donkey... mines was shipped by "Syncreon Technology", who's website doesn't even work. So who knows?

Just got the apple email with the number. Got the tracking number via email from apple when they sayed it was shipped to me.
They dont state its for TNT in they email but the referance number is a TNT referance number.
No other extras for now just the macbook.
