Thanks for the updates. Going to hold off till next week's (hopefully) beta 4 release

I’m not risking my Ultra yet as I’d is my DD - my S7 is still burning off 6% an hour. On OS9 on the Ultra I still get about 40 hours on normal to me use. That includes 30 mins Apple Fitness+ and about an hour dog walk.

Silly question, but now that the crown brings up widgets, how to you change to the red watch face??

Watch face gallery. Infograph Modular has been changed to Modular.
Discovered it because I was using it in a shortcut. Didn't recognize or couldn't find the watch face so the shortcut failed.
Had to change it to Modular for it to work...

Update on S6 w/ 85% battery health: I don't notice any real difference in battery life. In case it matters, I get about 50 notifications a day and do about 60 minutes of GPS tracked exercise.
My S7 (gps+cellular, but cellular not activated) with 85% battery is still losing 6% an hour.

It is my second watch as I have an ultra on OS9, so I tend only to wear it for a three or four hours every day or so. On OS9 it was about 4% an hour. Not horrendous, but definitely a little bit worse.

From memory, it is from about beta 3 or the first public beta that Apple start to address the battery so it should get a lot better over the next few betas.

After a few weeks of no issues on my iPad, I finally just updated to the beta on my iPhone and watch. When I couldn't switch watch faces even after a hard reboot I was worried I found a major bug. I thought to look here first to see if others were experiencing it and sure enough it sounds like the swipe to change watch faces has been eliminated. I do this many times a day depending on the current activity. Long holding on the screen to get the same feature, and then tapping to confirm... just feels like a major step backwards. I'm so disappointed they just straight up removed a feature [without even mentioning it].

Yep, I didn’t realise how often I do it, until I couldn’t. Let’s hope it is a beta thing and it is enabled again in the final release.

Looking forward to another beta perhaps today. From memory beta 4 is where battery starts to get addressed more.

Hope they fixed the weather widget not showing info, happens at least 3-5 times a day and I have to switch the widget to something else and back to fix it.

Beta 4, I just experienced a Clockface respring loop for the first time. Luckily holding both the crown and side button allowed it to force reboot and it has been fine since.

Beta 4 is pretty solid so far. Streaming music from it directly will be the test at the gym tomorrow.

So, I finally downloaded my first Watch beta now that 4 became available.

Working very well on my Ultra. Battery life seems to be on par with what I was getting on Watch OS 9.

The Snoopy watch face is pretty amazing. Best face Apple has implemented to date. Also love the scrolling widgets.

It's great to see Apple put so much effort into improving the watch OS experience.

Updated my S7 this morning. Battery life so far seems a lot better. Been off charge 3.5 hours and burning about 5% an hour - this has included a 40 min dog walk workout. OS9 would be about the same. It would settle to an average of 4% over the day. Previously on Beta 3 that would have been about 6.5-7% if included the walk.

Time will tell (see what I did there 😉 )

Has anyone noticed the time to "Push and hold crown" to exit water lock or unlock sleep focus is much shorter now? I feel like it used to be about 2 seconds. Now it's only about 1 second. Just noticed this in beta 4, but maybe it was like this prior. I think I prefer the shorter time.
