Thank you for the TIP, but it looks like you just set playback to Air Pods, but there is not defined, that source need to come from Apple Watch and from iPhone. You run this shortcut from phone or Watch?
I run shortcut from my Apple Watch....do not carry my iPhone during workouts.

I searched through but couldnt find anyone mention it, anyone having issues with Mac unlock on the watch OS beta? My M1 Air doesnt want to do it with any of these betas, and Im not willing to deal with macOS beta to see if that fixes it
I did have issues initially with the PB1 on my S7, my iMac Pro running Ventura (13.4.1) would say "unlocking with Apple Watch" but then immediately jump to the password dialogue. I chalked it up to the beta and didn't bother to do anything about it. But a few days later it suddenly started working. And it still does, reliably; now on the public beta 2.
I guess that doesn't really help you except as another result. 🤷‍♂️

Interesting, it let me install WatchOS 10 Beta 5 before installing iOS Beta 5. I checked for the iOS update before the watch and it didn't return any update. I figured last week's iOS update was all there was, so I installed the watch update and now I see the iOS update and am installing now.

Just tried something different and it is so much quicker to install.

I have 2 watches, an Ultra (WatchOS 9) and a s7 on the beta. I am wearing my Ultra at the moment (ie it is the active watch on my iPhone) so I went to the S7 in settings and ran the update from there - no waiting for the bluetooth transfer etc, installed in about 2 mins!

Will swap watches now to see how it goes

I'm still having the sunrise/sunset problem on beta 3. Shows west coast sunset time, I'm on the east coast.
I finally installed the beta today (beta 5). I am seeing an issue similar to this one. For my sunrise/sunset complication from (world clock) it doesn't show any time, just the sun icon and dashed lines. If i click on it, it does open the world clock. Prior to this install it worked properly on OS 9.

Have you resolved it? If not, i'll go ahead and file a bug.

Watching this forum to see if latest is stable and battery is ok.
Running beta on every other device except the watch for now.
All other betas running good so hoping beta 5 will be the one!

anyone's watch stuck on "preparing" when trying to update? I've tried resetting my watch, forced restarted both watch and phone, but still getting stuck on "preparing"... been over an hour now.

Depending on your watch model, this can take quite a while. Maybe be patient. On my AW5 it took ages, certainly an hour.

Early doors I know, but battery life is horrendous on B4. Even on first install the other betas lost no more than 6% an hour - B4 is on 10% since last night. Went to bed after 2 hours on 80% and woke up 6 hours later (it was in sleep mode) on 20%. Just done a hard reset and charging to 100%. Will swap out with my Ultra after my morning workouts.

S7 45 by the way.

Try calibrating the battery, Bill.

Run the watch until it turns itself off, then fully charge, without using it.

Wishing you luck.

Beta 5: watch unplugged from charger at 6am. We are at 2 pm with a light workout of about 30min currently I have 52%.

I have a feeling that watchOS 10 is eating up the battery unfortunately.

Have the weather widget issues been resolved?
I’m still having weather complication issues. I thought beta 5 would fix them, but after a while, they stop updating. Even after opening the weather app, the values shown in the complication do not update to current conditions. I’ve already filed an issue in the feedback app.

So I did a hard reset on first my iPhone 14 pro (iOS 17 B5) and then the watch on B5. Charged to 100% and now losing about 3%-4% an hour (been in meetings for 2 hours so literally no movement or exercise lol). About right for my S7 45.

Going to run with it for the day as beta 5 is normally where I jump all in and have an Ultra on WatchOS 9 still. I do love my 48 hour battery life though on it....

Annoying. I’m still on beta 4, tells me no updates available. Tried a reset too.

Edit: resetting my network settings fixed it, finally. Weird.
