As I said, battery health was 100% until a few weeks ago and I was wondering if my (bad) charging habits did not matter at all as my bad charging habits do have an impact on my other devices, e.g. my iPhone 13 Pro and my previous Apple Watch 7 which had a lot faster battery health decline. Not sure though how much that was but definitely within 10% or so over the first year.

I am a runner and do always charge to 100% when I am taking a shower after running. No 80% limit or slow charging or anything else to be nicer to the battery.
Ohhh same here. I also charge it before bed and if I have to go to work the morning before. I also have been working out longer than usual due to the weather cooling down in the fall season, I had been doing lots of dancing/HIIT, last month with kickboxing and end my workouts with 20-45minutes yoga or Mindful Cooldown 10mins+ depending on the day. I do use the optimized charging limit only if it kicks in and I don’t have to charge it full, like I need it in a pinch 🤏 like getting more juice in it for a workout.

AWU2 was at 98% Battery health before the 11.2 beta it's now showing 88%. Cannot be showing correctly for it to show a 10% decrease in less than a week?
This is totally abnormal, man. Y’all with these Apple Watches for less than a year or newer batteries cannot degrade so much even if we take care of it properly. 10% decrease in battery health is a bug if we had these Apple Watch Ultra 2 models for only a month or two (with the black titanium case) or less than a year (natural titanium).
Sounds like more of a reporting glitch than an actual battery degradation.
The way our Apple Watch calculates these things are quite off. Remember when we first discussed the big drops in battery life and draining in watchOS 11.1 developer beta, there are inconsistencies due to the logging that occurs in the background. I understand Apple Watch Ultra users in these betas feel left out from not having an advantage over charging sparingly by every other day, but if you have these huge struggles, I recommend turning off AOD if it distracts you, bringing a mini power pack and a charging cable for your Apple Watch in your MacBook bag, or minimizing use of cellular especially in workouts; always carry your iPhone with you.

This Is my report to show that there's a lot of reports.

Did you see the battery health drop a few percentage points when you updated to 11.2? I had my gold stainless steel Apple Watch Series 6 for roughly 4 months and I had it new, it dropped down from 100% to 96% capacity after this recent update.
The battery health of my Series 6 is down to 78%. I am pretty sure it was around 85% before.
I can not blame anybody because I use it everyday so it's normal the battery health decrease.
I wait for the new beta which should be released today or next week. I expect to see if there is a difference in battery health percentage.

Wow how often do you charge it and how long did you have the Apple Watch Series 6? Did you also submit feedback as well?

I bought the Series 6 at the release. I wear it 23 hours by day, the rest is the charging. I didn't submitted feedback, I wait for the new beta to compare.

Installed today's iOS 18.2 beta 3 on my 16pm and my ultra2 gets an error when trying to download watch os beta 2.

Should have checked here first. Been jumping through every hoop trying to get 11.2b2 to install on my U2. "Software Update Failed" no matter what I do.

Ohhh let’s see. Just curious is your Apple Watch Series 6 model the blue aluminum one or the red one? These colors look great and are exclusive to that series. There’s also introduction to graphite in leiu of space black, not too dark.
There’s a new beta interesting to see if there’s any changes to battery health

Seems to only affect ultra 2
How on earth would it not install on Apple Watch Ultra 2 devices? Was it bricking like the 3rd watchOS 11.1 beta?
