Any place but here or there....
Oh man, talk about bringing back some memories. I love these guys. One of the first Death Metal bands I was introduced to on my local radio station. KNAC used to have Manic Mondays and they would play death metal for about an hour at midnight and man, these guys were one of the first I heard.

Sticking to the death metal theme...

Morbid Angel: Covenant

Oh Morbid Angel..that was a good album. Silly videos though.

Bolt Thrower are not just my favorite band almost 30 years running (despite finally breaking up after the untimely death of their drummer), they were very good friends of mine for several years and I occasionally speak with two members. They're the one extreme band I can listen to any and every day. Adore 'em.

Case in point, my most favorite song (Metal or Otherwise)

Bolt Thrower were the most down to earth band I ever kept in touch with; We were friends and almost family. I hope to see Karl, Whale and Ms. Bench again at some point.

I miss that scene. You could be friendly/friends with some of the biggest bands. It felt like a community.

and no surprise, I am listening to BT at work now. Yes, I know...but I utterly love them.

'God of Emptiness' is truly a masterpiece from that album. Although I must say my favorite songs can be most likely found from albums such as 'Altars of Madness' and 'Domination'.

What comes to Bolt Thrower and Mastodon, both are excellent bands - a nice hazy sound to them.

Listening to Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
Very nice. I'm actually going to see a Pink Floyd tribute band in a couple of weeks - hope they will deliver an authentic sound.

Currently blasting some Kingston Wall with their brilliant song 'We Cannot Move'.

Both of those MA albums are excellent. I really like Domination.

Are you going to see "Which One's Pink" by any chance. We saw them at a little club in Long Beach CA and they are something special. From the vocals to the overall sound. They are killer! We wanted to see them do "The Wall" concert at a place called the Grove but we already had plans by the time we found out about them.
