Is it the smaller screen that helps?Horizon Zero Dawn, finally. I had stopped for a long time because of motion sickness with most games on my PS4, but solved that recently by using Remote Play to my MBA. What a relief. I could swear last time I tried Remote Play years ago, it didn't work very well on a Mac, so kind of forgot about that as an option.
I guess so because I can see more of the room and outside in my peripheral vision. I tried all of the console-based suggestions including putting a white dot on my TV screen. Within 5-10 minutes that familiar nauseous feeling returned. The only thing I didn't try was taking dramamine, which seems like .... taking a med to play games? Nah. I did try ginger though but to no effect. Is it the smaller screen that helps?
Glad you found a solution that works. Motion sickness is awful.I guess so because I can see more of the room and outside in my peripheral vision. I'm very pleased with how smooth Remote Play works.
There’s this oil that you can buy from Walmart/target and possibly any other big box store. You put/tub some on your ear and it helps with motion sickness.I guess so because I can see more of the room and outside in my peripheral vision. I paid for Halo infinite, and after about 1 day, I was fortunate enough to get a refund on this. The biggest problem at least for me was the tutorial that you had to finish first before you go onto the game play and for the life of me, I could not finish the tutorial that was mandatory. I’m 77 years old and had a mild stroke a few years back so this may had something to do with it, but I read a lot of ranting of this requirement of finishing the tutorial first which is silly and unnecessary.
I am now playing far cry 5 which I’m now enjoying. 🤗

I've got it set to performance mode and still the graphics (to me) are jaw dropping.Starting Ragnarok tonight! There was a national strike because of the inflation in Belgium and ofcourse the delivery service joined the strike... FFS...
Same here, and what an awesome game... Can't give it a 10/10 though, but a 9/10. Those hidden loading screens are annoying (small ledge or crack, move a big cart/boulder, etc) but they are obviously needed for the PS4-version...I've got it set to performance mode and still the graphics (to me) are jaw dropping.
I started playing the Witcher 3 and litteraly five days later they announced their PS5-patch... Been waiting ever since... Gonna have to think it over to play it in december though, since Hogwarts Legacy is getting released in februari and I'll need a looooooooooong time for The Witcher 3...Looks like @BlankStar will have to think of a new excuse not to play Witcher 3!
