I visited FromSoftware's building in Tokyo in September of 2019. To think that they were finishing up Elden Ring at that moment is so cool. My favorite developer by miles and the reason I rekindled (...) my love of video games.
My first play through of Elden Ring was around 211 hours. Can't wait to dive back in for round 2!

Hah, I hear ya. It's a BIG game. I'm taking a breather from it for a little bit and playing some smaller games like Into the Breach and Outer Wilds. So I guess I CAN wait to get back to round 2 after all. I just love these FromSoft games. Dark Souls 1 is still my favorite of all time.
Well my copy of Pokemon Violet has been delivered so once I get home from work i'll be playing that for the forseeable future!
Speaking of, I pre-ordered Crisis Core and ordered Death Stranding Director's Cut since it was discounted heavily...
If you dig Kojima’s style, aesthetics, and world view, DS is pretty amazing, especially with the enhanced graphics and additional content in the DC version. Who knew a delivery service courier sim could be so compelling???
Thing is that I tried the game on the PS4 and didn't like it, but with all the enhancements and extra weapons the DC-version brings, I'm willing to give it another go.
You might already know this (or bought the upgrade) but owners of the PS4 version can get the DC for around $10 as an upgrade through the online PlayStation Store. As well, there is a way to transfer most of your progress from the PS4 version to the PS5 version.

ETA: now that I'm thinking about DS, the first 10%-15% of the game does seem kind of dull compared to the subsequent parts. So if you bailed out early, try to get to the 2nd map/level (the first map, which contains Capital Knot City, is really a tutorial zone).

Had the digital PS4 normal version, but bought the PS5 disc for €20 in discount instead of buying the upgrade/DLC. Now I can sell it afterwards and get some money back.

Tbh Not massively impressed with the modern games , horizon zero dawn was good though
Bit of advice - Don't buy digital downloads as they're tied to the console - bit like Nintendo did with the wii , lesson learned on that one . Buy physical games whenever possible .

Since it's free on GamePass, I will say I have been having quite a bit of fun with Battlefield 2042. I honestly just wish there were no vehicles. It sucks to be battling for a point between two infantry squads just to have someone in a vehicle come in and light up one side with missles.
Read it has a lot of bugs, like most games on release these days. Did it get patched in the mean time?

Y’all are in for a great ride (ha ha)! The only advice I have is to play RDR, if you haven’t already, or watch the opening and closing cut scenes from RDR over again. RDR2’s story is tightly tied to RDR’s story. Plus a good chunk of RDR’s map is also in RDR2…with a lot better graphics and detail of course.
And you bust my balls for not playing Elden Ring yet! SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAME ON YOU! And I envy you, I'd love to forget the story and play RDR2 all over again. I'm dreaming of a PSVR2-version, that would be ridiculously awesome...
I just finished God of War Ragnarok. Awesome game, just like the prequel but with loads more content and improvements. Loved it. And in two days Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core gets released so timing is perfect!
And I pre-ordered Final Fantasy XVI yesterday. Looking forward to that one!
Made a list of stuff that is getting released that I want to play... All this getting on top of the backlog that is already huge, and ignoring several games that look interesting but where I don't dare to watch the trailer or look'm up...
