What's interesting is how it seems to be acceptable for people to say how little money they have, or what they can't afford, or how things are too expensive yet when someone says how money isn't a worry for them, oh, that's offensive. Those who toss their poverty into the conversation should be strong enough to be unaffected when someone tosses their wealth into the conversation.
I haven’t seen anybody here claim to be poor when criticising you flaunting apparent wealth in peoples faces. We are all here because we own iPhones so I highly doubt any of us are on the poverty line unless these items are bought on credit cards with no realistic way of paying it back. I am comfortable and am lucky enough to be able to buy most of the things I want. I fully sympathise with those who are less fortunate though. I’ve been in that position with student debt in the past. That has never been an issue here though, just the tone of and class judgement by others who assume it simply because the opinion isn’t shared.
