yeah cause my mom allready sent me 650 for the phone and she is stoked about me getting it. also the 29 is my 21 b-day! so i want to get it whiles im sober(hah jk) i will be sober plenty of times! but thats why i am so hellbent on getting one if not for that, i would be getting a massive tattoo insted i am gettin a medium tattoo.
or you can not get a tatoo and get more accessories!!!!! or a bluetooth headset

i doubt this will be as big as the wii launch. the audience isn't unlimited like the wii's was. there are limits to this .. do you need it? do you have at&t? can you afford the price + the data plan if it is indeed mandatory. i am hoping i can use my $19/month plan and get by with that. i dont want to pay $40/month even though i can afford it.
- Do I need it ? Hell ya
- Do I have AT&T ? No, but switching carriers is not a big deal
- Can I afford the price ? Yep
- Can I afford the monthly cost + data plan ? Oh ya, since I paying $250 a month currently ... this will be cheaper, since I am downgrading my plan. I no longer telecommute.
Don't get your hopes up if you don't want to fork out the data plan costs. I still can not understand why people still have a problem with this. Go call all the other carriers and ask about the plans for a treo or other smartphone. You will very quickly learn that this is common and just how it is, no way around it.
hopefully they'l let you sit in the store all day. remember, it wont go on sale till 6pm. the corporate store here in town isn't setup well for people to wait in line. they should be the one with the most in town.
I live in san antonio were at&t headquaters is located so there's at&t corporate store all over the place. There's one outside of my work; however, i'll be at college orientation in another city that day, but hopefully i'll be back home by 6...also, i keep wondering how everythings going to work: buying it from an apple store (the whole contract set up process) and the the data plan/pricing options, they really should give people a heads up so they know whether or not to buy one that day. Becuase surprising people with a ridiculous increase in their monthly bills come June 29th won't go too well.
dude, i am stoked too, but honestly that is way overboard to get there 24hrs in advance, way overboard.
after fighting with my boys from ny/nj for years over how ridiculous waiting on line sounds both because you are in a line not on it, but because of the confusion that can result as to whether you are referring to the internet or not, which your comment is a perfect example of. This is really meant to laugh at not as a mean comment in case it seems to serious and attacking.
what features differentiate a corporate store from a regular aside from the obvious kisok which would obviously not be a corporate store. can you call and ask or is there some sort of feature that makes it obvious.
hrm... dunno, i'm not really one for waiting in lines, not for 30 minutes and certainly not for 7 hours. as much as i love apple the idea of camping out for a product is really unappealing to me (i think this should be one of bill mahr's new rules), especially knowing full well the company can produce enough product for me to avoid doing so... if they want to. I'll just try my luck when i feel like it.
The trucks will be there early that day (before noon) or the day before depending on how Apple wants to do it in my area. My bro at AT&T never gets any deliveries after 2PM and he's been there for 4 years almost. Him, 1 other forum member that lives close, and I will be playing with the phone at least 4 hours early if everything goes to plan...
