It’s certainly quite tongue in cheek. We've been catching up on "Legends of Tomorrow". I love this wacky superhero show. They really do not take things seriously and that's a nice change!

That sounds interesting, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Deadpool 2.We've been catching up on "Legends of Tomorrow". I love this wacky superhero show. They really do not take things seriously and that's a nice change!
Really? I thought it was awful compared to the first film. That sounds interesting, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Deadpool 2.
I disliked the first one so much I skipped the second.Really? I thought it was awful compared to the first film.
I’d have to watch the first one to judge. Should I?Really? I thought it was awful compared to the first film.
Only if you’ve run out of other films to watch!I’d have to watch the first one to judge. Should I?

As did I. I thought Deadpool was awful and a waste of time.
I, and thousands of fans, are eagerly awaiting the next great installment in the franchise!
Try it? The first film is a story film of how Reynold's character gets to become Deadpool. I thought the humor, adult wise or not, was a lot clever in the first film. The second film focused on several topics culminating together near the end. I will admit the superhero hiring and one-by-one picking off by natural disaster or stupid choice in the second film was rather hilarious.I’d have to watch the first one to judge. Should I?
There are the HBO series that have really stood out for me and my wife.Yeah, they really talked that way,and we loved it.
Deadwood was so good, and like my all time favorite 'Carnavale', the early HBO stuff was so much better than anything ever seen on TV, before or since. Those shows spoiled us for all time. a2
Brought over from the Deadwood Thread my list of worthy HBO series (the Deadwood Movie was excellent, but you’d have to watch the series first):
There are the HBO series that have really stood out for me and my wife.
Deadwood (2004)- Life centered in a town created as part of the 1870s South Dakota gold rush. Murdering, swindling, prostitutes and a collection of colorful, some historical characters. It really is a unique series and story.
Rome (2005) is another MOST excellent HBO series, this one also cancelled just after 2 seasons due to production costs in Italy. I have that series on DVD and will break it out again to watch. Available on HBO and Amazon Prime.
Big Love (2006) about a Mormon fundamentalist family, the trials and tribulations of having multiple wives and keeping it a secret in the suburbs of Salt Lake City.
Six Foot Under (2001) about a family of morticians and the business of death with some macabre elements.
True Blood (2008) Vampires in Louisiana who make their presence known and kinda have integrated into society. It was excellent, then it sucked, because of it veered so badly from the books and Alan Ball’s preoccupation with gayness.
Band of Brothers (2002) Most excellent WWII chronicle about Easy Company, Second Battalion.
Sex and the City (1998j Got us subscribed to HBO. Four women friends living in NYC seeking love and mates. This got syndicated without the nudity.
Westworld (2015)- Now that I am subscribed to HBO, I may stick around to binge watch this.
The Sopranos (1999)- Excellent mob opera.

Sex in the City was more of my wife’s thing, but I ended up invested. The only reason I did not include Dexter was because I should not have locked myself into a HBO list.I’ve seen all of those except Sex in the City. That never really appealed to me. I’d add to the list Mad Men which I think is second only to the Sopranos. I also loved Dexter.
As for HBO shows, I’d highly recommend The Wire and The Newsroom if you haven’t seen them. Veep is excellent as well, the series finale just aired a couple weeks ago.
Thanks for the heads up. I forgot it was releasing so soon.Good Omens. It's great! If you have Amazon Prime, do not miss it!
My wife is currently watching it, I haven't really had time lately, but the bits I saw passing through seemed ok."Dead to Me" via netFlix
i tried to watch this but just too much estrogen for me.
the characters and the movie set seem un real.
i got through half of the 1st season.
