Ok works!! Question to OP. If the official update comes out, do i have to uninstall and reinstall this??
 
Works well with the pyger Beta 3. Only same problem with the backup. Anyone able to suggest a method of backing up?
 
The pyger link installed fine. But there's one issue though. I don't seem to get notifications once I close the app. After I open the app, I see a surge of notifications.

Any workaround?

I seem to be also having the same issue. It's random though.
 
Apps installed like that are sand-boxed for security, so push notification doesn't work.
Wait for the final release, be thankful it fits your screen for now.
 
lol...dangit then i might as well just wait for the release XD i want my chats backed up

Push notifications working fine here.. Still with closed app!

Same problem here. I authorize the installation and nothing happened
Does I need to uninstall whatsapp app, the install the beta one?
 
Push notifications still dicey on the beta. Hope they release the GM soon. The wait is so annoying.

Probably even thought I doubt they would even read the email.
But when a 19BILLION $ company can’t even figure out by themselves, that the screenshots for their only app have been outdated for at least a year in a market of more than 80 million people that was from what I've heard actually the first market where WhatsApp really took off, than you really gotta wonder what is going on.

How could they possibly not have noticed until now?
How do you accidentally update screenshots in one store but not the other?

Imho there are just so many things wrong with this company that this one just fits nicely with the others.
 
Isn't there am way to get into the beta provided by whatsapp and not using these workarounds? Or are only developers from whatsapp in there ?
 
Hi everyone,

I'm following this thread from starting but new to this. Even, 1st reply to any thread in MR.

I'm the one who set a reminder every hour to check app store updates for whatsapp..! Finally, today I installed www.pgyer.com/WhatsAppBeta and working as expected.

My concern here is.. it will not harm anything to my iPhone 6 right..!
 
The only problem for me with the Beta is that I was unable to backup my conversations
