The Tough Jacket is a pretty decent case and was the best of the bunch.

Nope, not at all. They have definitely firmed up the outer TPU frame over past Grip cases.
Got a slight Banana bow going on though. 😩
I'll try it out later tonight and report back.
It looks pretty cool still. What are your initial thoughts of it before even using it? Is it grippy? How are the buttons?
Very grippy and the buttons feel good. I have not tried it on the phone yet.
I've had the Grip cases for past phones and they were all pretty good.
I just worry about peeling the skins off the backer with that ultra thin frame around the camera.

30 pages of symmetrical cut out complaints... so really only 70 pages
Any tips for peeling the Dbrand skin off the backer without damaging that very thin border around the camera?

Is the blacked out one better than the Symmetry?
No slimeball, it does offer decent protection. Nothing like the symmetry protection though and it will turn yellow in a couple of months. Mine started to after 2 months then I switched to leather cases for my xr.
Peel starting at bottom. Very slowly. Once you reach the camera array, hold a finger on the camera border and slowly lift the right side and eventually let go of left (camera border).

Hmmm, you all convinced me to try the monarch and Im sending it back. The sides next to the volume and power are just too loose for my liking, same reasons I never warmed up to the symmetry. I ordered one of those $12. Mkowas cases and should get that soon, how did that compare to the mo arch?
im glad I didn’t get the dbrand after seeing the cutouts. I don’t know why companies can’t make the cutouts right since there’s been asymetr cutouts forover a year now.

That is not a concern for me on my symmetry, is the monarch worse though? Nomad have that down good but stiff buttons lol, hard to get a win. Nomad rugged/Active is my perfect case if it had buttons like symmetry, apple leather

I've tried a nomad rugged and active in Black both with stiff buttons, my wife has a brown XR folio with good buttons, anyone got a 11 pro brown rugged or active with good buttons?
