Mine are a bit mushy, you can actually feel the travel between the case and the buttons if you play with them. This was one of the pluses of the limitless 3.0, it was much more clicky.

Agreed. If you need strong tactile feedback from your buttons the Limitless 3.0 is far more responsive than the Contour, IMO.

They're different types of cases - I'd go for the Air Jacket if I wasn't too worried about drop protection and wanted a hard case. I'd go with the Totallee if I wanted a TPU/rubber case.

Then the Torras if I wanted more protection and didn't mind more bulk. Buttons and fit are nice on the Torras.

A few quick pictures of the Power Support Air Jacket. I'll try to remember to take pics with a camera soon.

I just purchased the Power Support Air Jacket Clear Case from their website. I aslo purchased the Peel Clear Case and Speck single-layer clear case (both TPU). I'm not sure if I like a hard case or soft case. To be honest, I'm leaning more towards the hard case.

Here are some pics as promised. I also added the one with the knife against the button to demonstrate how much travel there is before it makes contact with the phone button.

black speckled = Mous contour
Wood = Mous limitless 3.0

I had planned on getting a cheap spigen for my pro max but atnt offered me a free accessory so I picked a lifeproof next. For 80 it’s definitely not worth it. But I like the case but not for the money.

Crap, I just ordered the black leather Contour. Is the power button that bad?

I was really planning on getting this, but that button is a big negative for me. However, I am not in a hurry... If everything goes as planned, my dad gets his 11 Pro from work in the first week of January and then we will switch phones.

I am trying to decide between the Nomad Rugged and Mous Contour. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy to return cases in my country as it is in the US. So hard choice... Could someone tell me how clicky the buttons on the Nomad Rugged are?

Not good on the active, i sold my Xr rugged so couldn't compare side by side but was not bad as i wouldn't of kept the case, just checked my wife's Xr rugged folio and they are good.
So maybe its just the active or i got a dud, worse thing with the rugged was no lip at all with a glass screen protector, face down would slide around on it. The active has a small lip like apple leather.

Maybe the new rugged has a lip with SP if someone has one? And answer you question re buttons.

Still hunting cases.

I returned the Apple leather case - too slippery and the Mous Contour Speckled - sent the wrong size, but wasn’t as thrilled with it for the price. I tried 3 more cases that all are going back today - one of those could have been a keeper, but again, it was very slippery. So far, the Spigen Liquid Crystal and a Sankmi Clear Case (Amazon) have been my keepers.

On order:
Case Yard Hummingbird case (clear). I had a colored wood case from them last year that I loved.
Zizo Division Séries - Black Stellar Case (looks like it’s sold out now)
A marble design back case - we’ll see. I want a nice marble design, but I am particular on how the design looks. I also don’t like cheap prints on cheap silicone cases.

Ive owned the Apple Leather for every iPhone-version since 5 and while they do feel slippery right outside of the box, they do get the perfect grip after just a couple of days as the leather absorbs oils and moisture from your hands. I have also always initially added a very delicate leather protector before using it which also helped the grip.
Just wanted to add those 2 cents for all of those whos thinking of buying te case in the future :) Im pretty mad Apple doesnt make it for iPhone 11 which forces me to buy some other half a@sed version...

Can’t wait for a comparison of the Peel and Speck when you get them. Still debating on pulling the trigger on either of those on Amazon or the ESR leather case in lieu of an Apple OEM one for the 11.

Mous Contour Black Leather landed today. Ive got mixed feelings about the case. Love the feel of their leather. That power button is a let down. Without trying it on the button itself is very flimsy.

Did I read somewhere in this thread that they tried the Caudabe Synthesis? They put this post on IG on how they made changes to the case to make it more grippy based on feedback.

I’ve got one coming tomorrow. How grippy is the leather on that version?

My white Mous Contour arrived a little earlier and I’m impressed!

The leather feels absolutely gorgeous, it’s so soft and there’s definitely a decent amount of grip to it. The sides are not as slick as I expected them to be - there is the tiniest amount of texture to them. The contour shape works really well and it isn’t thick. It’s well weighted - not noticeably heavy. I can’t believe such a slim case can afford so much protection!

Negs- As others have noted, there is a fair bit of play in the buttons. It feels like Mous have intentionally left a gap between the case and the buttons. This is not a deal-breaker for me, but I can appreciate some may really not like it. It’s really going to be a case of trying it out and seeing if it bothers you.

I’m not sure how well the white leather is going to look over time. I’ve never owned a leather case before, so I don’t know if it will look good. I hope so though as the colour is beautiful!

Anyway, I’ll let the pics speak for themselves. There’s already been a lot of discussion about this case, but if anyone has any questions I’ll be happy to answer. Especially if you’re interested in the white leather as I’ve not seen anyone else here using this colour yet. :)
