My white Mous Contour arrived a little earlier and I’m impressed!

The leather feels absolutely gorgeous, it’s so soft and there’s definitely a decent amount of grip to it. The sides are not as slick as I expected them to be - there is the tiniest amount of texture to them. The contour shape works really well and it isn’t thick. It’s well weighted - not noticeably heavy. I can’t believe such a slim case can afford so much protection!

Negs- As others have noted, there is a fair bit of play in the buttons. It feels like Mous have intentionally left a gap between the case and the buttons. This is not a deal-breaker for me, but I can appreciate some may really not like it. It’s really going to be a case of trying it out and seeing if it bothers you.

I’m not sure how well the white leather is going to look over time. I’ve never owned a leather case before, so I don’t know if it will look good. I hope so though as the colour is beautiful!

Anyway, I’ll let the pics speak for themselves. There’s already been a lot of discussion about this case, but if anyone has any questions I’ll be happy to answer. Especially if you’re interested in the white leather as I’ve not seen anyone else here using this colour yet. :)

That white leather looks amazing, at least while it’s new.

The clear case does nothing for me, and the silicone is a dust magnet.

I used to really love their leather (iPhone 5s version) but feel it has become a bit slippery and cheap for the cost
I didn't use them that far back but I've never really gotten a "cheap" impression from the current offerings. They are a little slick when they're brand new but once it's been used for a week or two that goes away. I've seen some people say they scrub away that shiny/slick coating on their new cases but I've never felt the need and just let them age normally.

Can’t wait for a comparison of the Peel and Speck when you get them. Still debating on pulling the trigger on either of those on Amazon or the ESR leather case in lieu of an Apple OEM one for the 11.

The green ESR leather case looks lovely. Their support when I tried them where lacking to say the least, though...

For the time being, Im going to try this full leather case from Decoded:

Havent got my 11 yet, hopefully tomorrow or friday. Ill update with more pictures then. The feel is very, very similar to Apple leather case, though which is promising, but it will come down to how good or bad the buttons are since I cant stand buttons with bad feeling!

Olive Drab UAG Pathfinder case. Purchased this to go with my midnight green phone but switched to the space gray before it arrived. The Pathfinder was always one of my favorite cases.

That white looks really nice. I’m tempted to try the blue myself but curious how much grip I’d lose compared to the speckled black.

The Adirondacks.
Grip is good on leather but sides are slick for me personally compared with nomad active rugged.

Agreed. The Nomad is easier for me to grip. The Mous has better screen protection IMO. I’d never use a Nomad Rugged without a quality edge to edge screen protector. If your into leather though Nomad can’t be beat.:apple:

Initially got Tozo tempered glass protectors. Also ended up buying Mous tempered glass as they were half price part of the bundle. Will install them at some point.

If you end up not being satisfied I HIGHLY recommend TETHYS Full Framed Screen Shields. 3 pack on Amazon $7. Outstanding product. I use nothing else. ;)

The blue looks great from the pics I’ve seen. I nearly bought the speckled black due to the reports of extra grip, but I was pleasantly surprised at how grippy the plain white is. Mind you, if it gets grubby quickly I may buy the speckled as well lol.

Just a shame Mous did not correct the cutouts on the bottom to match the phones.

Are the buttons better on the Nomad than on the Mous?

They must be bad on the mous then as i sent my nomad active back as the volume buttons were too stiff, maybe i got a dud.

Ive had the monarch, and the plasma which i found scratched and felt a bit slimy, is the pathfinder similar size as plasma?

Blue Mous Contour arrived today. The back grip is better than the brown as it feels rubbery and doesn’t have the leather smell.

This one has a saggy lip at the lightning connector though. Will be exchanging for sure.

My brown fits perfectly. Buttons also feel better.
