Yikes. The difference with mines and JBlass is that our cases are about a year old since its for a 14 series. You and lyceum have the 15 and that just came out....

Yes it’s FineWoven. The beauty of white is that it can go with any of the colors. The Taupe with white iPhone in my opinion is probably the best (but not sure how you feel about such a light color case) but Pacific Blue and Evergreen are so good with white too! Mulberry is nice but not a color I would choose.

Oof some of these posts about the Caudabe cases, not looking good! I hope they can get their QC fixed soon. I'll see if there's anything noticeable on my Sheath once it gets here on Saturday.

Cypress Silicone or Evergreen FW? Help me decide since I can't

Silicone is going to be lower maintenance than FW.

FW you’ll have to be more careful with it (not getting wet, not scratching, harder to clean, can stain)

FW does give the phone a more premium look.

Silicone is the lint issue and possible chipping but easier to maintain for sure.

So only you can weigh out the factors and decide

Sheath you won’t have this issue the MagSafe is under felt lining. That would solve the synthesis issue

I like the silicone over the FW but also prefer the color of the Cypress over the Evergreen. I almost got that over the Clay.

Given it seems this issue is a QC issue I’ll be asking caudabe for a refund. They’re not cheap cases, I expect more.

Took about 4 business days for customer support (Liz) to respond to that picture I emailed them. Said it wasn't normal and wanted me to confirm address for a replacement

Someone else posted this case and I ordered it for $15 on Amazon - Meifigno Magic Mag Series. It’s pretty decent for a backup to the silicone. The border wraps nicely around the screen but it’s not tall enough to interfere with the swipes. It’s a tad more slippery over the silicone but shows zero fingerprints due to the frosted look. Not sure how long the magnetic stickers inside will last but they are strong enough for a solid connection with the MagSafe wallet. Plus the orange Action Button is a nice touch.

Ouch that’s bad. Hasn’t happened to me yet but I haven’t been using it all that much because it’s so difficult getting the phone out of the case, feels like I’ll scratch the edges or break something.
That and the action button cutout. Pretty much a disaster of a case.

Not happening on my Sheath, but I guess that's because it's covered in microfiber?

The funny thing is my 14PM case didn’t do this. It can still fit my 15PM, it’s not the right fit I’m used to. I think Caudabe will send a replacement. They’re good with that.

I'd be interested to see how this holds up over time. I bought a couple of knockoffs last year, and they collected dust like no other. Maybe I'm just a sucker but the official Apple silicone case I bought this year, doesn't collect nearly as much.

I push mine from the camera cut out to get it off. One side pops off first and helps to get the case off without scratching it.
