No annual drop test because that metal camera ring with it's 4 tiny screws would be a major fail point. That thing would rip right out of the case if dropped from that high.
Absolutely. It’s too bad though because I usually like to see how cases stack up each year. He should just make it, and leave his case out of it lol

Torro Black Leather

Fits the from factor of the phone nicely. Feels great to hold, good grip not sticky not slippery.
Buttons good (not as flat as my symmetry) hard to better them.
Good on pinky.
15 max is 38 grams, 6 less than my symmetry and smaller all round.
Smells good lol
The magsafe is so good, best I have used on all the cases I have tried including FW, nomad, mujjo, symmetry few others can't remember.
Not showing a magsafe mark.
Definitely a keeper for $53AUD here.

lol Phone Rebbie mustn’t fair very well this year, hence why there is no annual drop test video this year. Bummer
I thought he did one late last year. Though I think he’s focussed more on the cases over YouTube. Last I heard, they’re selling well?

Happy to report that the latest Sheath is still perfect with no MagSafe rings or impressions on the back after 3-4 charges on the Magssfe charger. Not sure if they fixed the problem or I just got lucky with this case.
So far, so good here too. It’s looking like they may have finally fully resolved this issue.

Is this 100% leather all the way around or does it have TPU sides?

Caudabe cases are on sale, finally ordered a sheath in black to go alongside my blue synthesis. Went with the open action button, couldn’t stand the stiff action button on my synthesis so why not if it’s available. It doesn’t matter much to me if a case has or doesn’t have the action button…button.

Do you guys actually believe in the drop test videos? I'd take those videos with a grain of salt, honestly. Same with Mous's drop tests. It's just an ad trying to sell you their products.
The EAP drop tests seem legit, though I’m not sure what a 50’ drop test really tells you when nearly all drops are going to be from head height or lower.

Even with 35% off and $7 shipping, sheath still $54AUD.
Still not worth it imo.

It doesn’t really change the opinions of those that have had good experiences with it though does it? You liked it on your black iPhone 12 when you were called Robosan here. I’ve had 2 sheaths now and both have been flawless and protected the phone very well.

I’ve narrowed my cases down a bit. I’ve now just got my 2 Andar, 1 Bullstrap, & a Synthesis.

I’m thinking about having a case a little more protective than the Synthesis. I didn’t like the plastic feel of the clear Phone Rebel, selling it. I wanted to get the light blue Symmetry again, but I bought it for $29 before and now it’s $39 so I’m reluctant to pay more..

Edit: Do you lot trust the Synthesis in a fall to concrete?

I’m thinking Zagg Milan or RhinoShield SolidSuit (with a PopSocket)

My Synthesis Symmetry is a little loose and it has a bit of droop at the bottom cutouts. I’m not 100% confident it wouldn’t pop off on one of the corners in a hard drop.

What about the aramid Phone Rebel? Great fit, protection, and better grip than the clear version.

If it weren’t for the loose fitting of your Synthesis? Mine fits perfect. It’s just that it’s a hard plastic case that doesn’t have any kind of cushion in the case of impact.

I had the Aramid Enzo for a while and I just didn’t like the aramid fiber look for me. I have a couple weeks before vacation. I’ll probably end up buying the Symmetry again.
