dude I’m right there with you. I can’t find anything that’s not too wide. It sucks cause I have the apple leather case and that’s awesome, but I’m just bored! Well, and I’d like a little more protection haha!

I have the Xr though which is wider than the Xs line. Not by a ton, but it makes a difference. Mine is a corporate phone. I wound have taken the X or Xs but wasn’t an option.

No apple leather for Xr. Would have to use Mojo or whatever it is. The open bottom of most all leather cases scare me.

definitely, at least with my hands (fairly large such that i can use the XS one handed for 95% of the things i need to do), the few mm are a big difference. i definitely like how the Sheath doesn't had much width to the phone.

i got the chance to handle an XR for the first time yesterday at Best Buy. without a case, it felt comfortable in my hand but with a case, it was too wide and big. this was the main reason why i went with the XS. while i do like the telephoto lens and OLED, if the XR were a smidge smaller (even a 5.5 or 5.6" version so it matched the footprint of the XS), i likely would have gone for it and saved the extra $250

Yup. Bare handed it feels great. But with the solid suit it’s wide.

Same way I always thought the the plus models handled. Loved them careless but with anything that was protective, it was bigger than i wanted. I’m a one hand phone user most of the time. Can’t be with the Xr

I had a Apples leather case for my iPhone 7 and it was great. I went right for the same case for my XS.

I love how classy the black leather case looks. I also really like the feel of a leather case. I wish there was a leather version of the Sheath. That would be the perfect case, kind of similar to the leather case Apple used to make for the 5s. That is by far my favorite version of the Apple leather case.

I find these cases get nicer as they wear in. Just like a fine leather wallet. They provide decent protection. Dropped my iPhone 7 a few times, there were big chunks taken out of the case but the phone survived.

Although the leather case that Apple made for the 5s is my favorite, I've actually never owned one, so I have no idea how it aged. In fact, I've only seen it once in person, but I fell in love with it immediately. At the time, I was using a Samsung Galaxy phone, and I told myself, "I'm getting an iPhone just for that case!". I guess I just like it because it was leather, had the soft lining, covered all four sides of the phone, and was super thin. I was hoping the Totallee leather case would be Apple iPhone 5s leather case reincarnated but it wasn't.

The one for my 5s is my all time favorite as well. Such a great case.

What’s this about the Mous cases scratching phones?

I’ve been using the Limitless 2.0 for about a week now and really like it. But I haven’t taken it out of the case yet to look for scratches.

Someone posted a link to another thread for the Mous cases issues is where I saw that FYI it’s a few pages back on our thread here. I personally don’t have a Mous case so wouldn’t know

Any pics of nomad??

How is the front lip.??

Thanks
Here are pictures of my two Nomad Rugged cases. Please note that these are for the iPhone X! The version for XS is thinner (thus less drop protection) and has buttons that are the same material as the case.

By the way, I tried to make good pictures, but they are not that nice... If you want a picture of a certain part of the case, just ask! :)

EDIT: I see that the patina doesn't really show on the pictures, which is a shame.

Anyone here have the new iPad Pro yet?
I need one but I'm low on $$$$ :(
I sold my 10.5 Saturday night and picked up an 11”yesterday. Been playing with it all day. Save your loot. It’s worth it. The guy I dealt with at the Apple store told me you can amass a bunch of Apple Store gift cards for hardware purchases. I’m hopping I get a few for Christmas. I’ll use them for an Apple Pencil.

Thanks for posting pics bud. I have contacted them to check if they can declare value below $20 so i dont have to pay import vat lol. Shame the reseller they have listed for UK doesn’t sell them anymore.

That patina looks way nicer compared to me iphone 7 nomad case.

One additional comment on the RhinoShield. I found it to be a nightmare to take off. Much worse than other cases. Almost afraid of damaging my phone.

You didn’t realize you needed a crow bar for removal of the SlipperySuit

So the Vader Symmetry felt super cheap to me. It had the strange issue near the buttons that some of them have. It’s unfortunate, but the SS felt much more premium and dare I say it... solid...

God damn Red Buttons! I want them! Just not such a wide case!
