Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

Anyone know if the metal band cases affect signal on the iPhone X? Looking at the xdoria cases, the audio channel seems nice to have. But I don’t want to sacrifice signal quality.

Debating between Spigen Liquid Air, Spigen Thin Fit, or Totallee's Ultra Slim case... not sure. Have been using Spigen's Thin Fit on the iPhone6S for years now and love it. Any one have history with both Spigen and Totallee and their opinions?

Just realized that I won't be able to use my magnetic car mount if I want to use wireless charging. The purpose of the case was purely to hold the piece of metal to attach to the magnetic car mount... guess I need a new, clamping style car mount?

They have cases that go with the MagMount ... and though the website says that the MagMount Qi is "sold out", I found it on Amazon...

I found these guys through the Watch stands thread... and even tested their desktop dock... I have no interest in this company or their products, except as a customer...

I love clear cases but I want to steer away from them. Don't you have issues where dust/debris gets stuck inside and you need to remove the case to clean because it just looks hideous?

Official ones are usually timed to release right before the phone does if I recall and since that phone is on delay until October....

Just seems odd they'd announce the phone and have it up on the store with the pre-order date but not do the same with the cases. Don't remember them doing that before.

I used to have a Leather wallet case from Doc Artisan; however, they have moved to a hard case for their wallet line, and I prefer a soft leather or thinner case.

Yes, used the Nomad Rugged for my X and it’s amazing! No complaints at all, it’s my favourite case.

I’ve been searching myself and it has come down to the following contenders (in no particular order):

Spigen Liquid Crystal
Ringke Air
Caudabē Lucid Clear

If anyone has had experience with any of the above please let me know the pros and cons.

I love the ringke Air. I had it in smoke grey and dropped my X a few times on concrete with no issue. I the spigen is good too. I ordered the ringke Air in clear for my max... I am a bit concerned about it getting yellow, but at 7.99 I can always pick up a new one

I bought spigen magnetic plates on amazon for $6.99 and put one in my Apple leather case for my car mount. Works perfectly. It holds my 8 plus easily so no worries for the Xs or Max.

Yes indeed, drop protection went from 10ft to 6ft. However, the new XS case is 33% thinner than the 'old' X case.

For the X, they only offered brown. The black one is new. Here are a few pictures of my cases.

I had two (lighter one was was brand new when the pictures were taken, the other one a few months old).

I wish there was a soft/flexible case like the Peel / Totallee cases. I can’t stand the idea of the microabbrasions that hard shells against the metal would cause.
