A serious question: The design and colour of these newest iPhones are a thing of beauty. Other than the crystal clear sort, why cover these phones up with a case?
They’re absolutely too slippery. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve dropped a phone in a case, and when I went without for a couple of days (just around the house), I probably dropped I half a dozen times and had it slide off of chairs, etc., as well (thankfully, onto carpet).

Was that with an aluminum or glass phone?

Today I learned Peel and TOZO are from the same factory. But TOZO sells through amazon for way cheaper.

That said I’d never let hard plastic rub against my phone.

I ended up getting a Pitaka MagCase... we will see, if I don’t like it, will return for Apple leather.

Well, went with the Nomad Rugged case. I like the look of leather but Apple's case doesn't offer enough drop protection for my liking. Hopefully it doesn't scratch up the phone but since it is lined I am hopeful.

Did you go with matte or glossy? What’s the texture like grippy or slippery? Want to give them a try but I’ve never owned one before. Thx
This is the first time I bought it. I got matte finish. It does not seem to be slippery. My only issue is it is very thin, does not look like worth $25. I am rethinking this purchase. This case will definitely not protect iPhone from any fall.

Where did you learn this from?

thanks, the big opening in the lower part that's a dust magnet:(

:D was about to ask the same.
I first noticed some thread mention them as “Peel/TOZO” and wondered why, though I did already see TOZO on Amazon and thought it looked like Peel.

So then I searched and sure enough there are many posts from owners of both and even some threads pointing out that the cases are identical - material, mold, fit, colors, etc.

Then I searched more and there’s some more sources. For example, a site with both for review grouped them as one case on their list because they are identical: https://bgr.com/2016/10/19/iphone-7-plus-cases-amazon-prime-slim/

Same openings on the X version I have been using for almost a year, had no issues with dust or fluff. No scratches on the bottom of the X unlike my previous phones when I used Apples cases with the cutout bottom.

As much as I love the phone without a case I don’t wanna spend $500 to repair the back glass. I’m going with a clear case so I can atleast see the silver color.

Yeah I hear you. I boycotted apple cases with the lower opening since I dropped my iPhone 6 and it cracked nearly the earphone jack. At that time I was using the apple silicone case. And since I only use slim cases with 4 side protections.

If I could I would go naked but I too would rather not pay for cracked glass repair as the silver matches my watch, however I have yet to find a clear case that doesn’t turn yellow or have a frosted effect on the sides.

It’s not meant to be a case for drop protection. It’s for people who want to protect their phones from scratches. *knock on wood* I’ve never dropped my phone ever in my life as I’m always cautious when holding my phone and gotten use to really be alert with how I hold my My phone. Same with getting my phone in and out of pockets. I no longer wear sweatpants with out zipper pockets for example. Super thin cases like these are the only reason why I’m okay with having cases on.
