Had an Otterbox Statement and this looks even nicer.
 
I ordered a Spigen liquid crystal as well and still debating on which Apple leather case to get. I’ve had the black one since the 7 Plus and X and need to change. I really like the cape cod but really want one that will flow with the gold Max nicely. That forest green is pretty sexy but not my daily style.

There are plenty of colors to choose from. The black one will not show much if any wear and the phone retains a very stealth beautiful look.

There’s enough wrap around on the bottom edges to protect from falls. I’ve dropped my phone a few times on hard sidewalk and asphalt and no damage to the phone. If you get little scratches you can usually rub them out. They fit excellent and the open bottom is nice because you can hold and feel the nice phone there while you use it making it feel like it’s a naked phone.

I even bought a Spigen metal magnetic plate and put up top to the right of the camera cut out on the inside. It works on my car magnetic mount and it’s high enough up I can still wirelessly charge my phone on my Ravpower qi charger. Love it.

I agree with you, the black leather is just nice. I’ve had problems in the past with the leather on the edges splitting from switches cases. Have you had any problems or do you just leave it on?
 
I ordered a leather Product (RED) case for my XS Max as well as a frosted Peel case. I have the clear plastic Peel now on my X and like the thinner profile of the frosted case.

slick wraps is the WORST.COMPANY.EVER. It takes them weeks/months to ship their crap... and if they run a sale it takes even longer. they don't allow you to cancel an order (even weeks later when it hasn't shipped.) only recourse you'll have is your credit card for a charge back... so make sure you use a good card company!
 
Are Totallee cases hard plastic? I’m looking for super slim but not hard. Something soft and like silicone ideally.
 
Apple black leather for my Xs. Got tan last year and am disappointed how tatty it now looks, while the black case on my 7 Plus was still fine after one year.

I like the feel of leather case

I’m doing the same. Great look.
 
So I had the Apple black leather last year and really liked how well it held up... this year I got the gold max so thinking what would look and hold up the best. Thinking between product red leather, midnight blue leather, could be convinced to just get black again.
 
Ordered the Horizon Blue case fro my Xs Max...will be here Wednesday. I’m curious to see how much larger it is than my X.

these look nice, I'm looking for a case with a nice, high front lip to protect the screen though. For a Max.

Anyone know a phone case with a high front lip?
 
Just purchased the official Apple leather case in Forest Green for my gold XS. I will probably order the Caudabe Sheath when they are available to order on Friday as that is what I currently have and it's a brilliant case!

I've ordered this orzly pack from Amazon. Their screen protector served me well on my 6 plus. I'm really liking the Lux case that comes in it

I ordered a Otterbox Symmetry for the iPhone X before the announcement of the XS for my fiances phone as it was $15 on Amazon. Otterbox has since updated the product on their website to show compatibility with both, although they do have a new part number that they are calling the symmetry slim version.

For my iPhone XS Max order for my phone I ordered an Otterbox Synmetry from Otterbox. It is set to arrive today, but I received a refund on my credit card, so it is making me curious whether I should be concerned about the case I am receiving. It shows out of stock for the black on their website, so even if I wanted to order another I couldn't. I guess I will have to wait until Friday to see if it fits the phone properly or if I will be running to a Best Buy or AT&T store and getting a case I don't really want.

I have had good luck with these Otterbox Symmetry cases on our iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, so I don't want to mess with success. I did manage to break my screen while using the Magpul Field Case. because the phone skid and hit a curb and the impact popped the corner of the case off and the glass hit the curb. I feel like if I had been using the Otterbox it would not have happened because the case wraps around the corners much more snugly.
