I got the Shieldon folio case yesterday and it’s by far the best folio I’ve tried. Leather is gorgeous, fits in and out easily, also has the auto on/off that the Apple case has. I am super impressed with this case. I also have the Apple folio but for me this is superior. In work at the moment but will post some pics later.

Forgot to mention. The case is magnetic so the case stays shut or when folded back sticks to the back.

I hadn't heard of Lander and looked them up, they are apparently the same company as Bodyguardz because when I tried to make an account it said I already had one, turns out they have my Bodyguardz orders in their system. I haven't found much about them so I may wait but they look interesting.

I survived...Well, Sort Of...I can't recommend any of the Chinese Cheapos. A few of them are OK for maybe a change of pace when ya get bored of yer current case or ya just wanna be seen rocking something different with yer nerdy circle of friends! I only received 7 of the 8, maybe, #8 will show up someday!

That's a nice color you got. The color makes it look very elegant and expensive.

I did try the evo rox case. Not impressive at all. It wasn’t nearly as grippy as one would believe.

I have the Tucch detachable folio for my XS, and it's even better, with one exception -- it's not leather.

I went with a detachable folio to avoid potential bulk, handling or voice quality issues (flap covering rear mic), and just to the freedom to go standalone when desired.

The best part of the Tucch is that the detached portion could make a very nice case on its own. It's a excellent molding with subtle corner bumpers, knurling for grip, and the buttons aren't slit to provide travel, and form potential dust entry points. It's also lined, and better quality than a lot of the cases I've handled. This part was a complete and pleasant surprise.

Sleep/wake works just like a smart cover, and I haven't noticed any adverse effects on the camera due to the magnets.

Unfortunately, Shieldon (the company behind both) doesn't make a detachable version in leather, or in the burgundy color, so I settled for the fake leather version under their Tucch branding. I've tried to convince them, though.

Got the K11 today. It's nice but I don't think I'll be keeping it. It makes the phone a bit wider than the Evutec I've been using. I feel like if I had the smaller phone it would be perfect for me; I loved it on my X last year. The grip is good for the most part but I feel like the Evutec had better grip since there was more... case. The sharp edges from last year's case are gone and the edges are now more rounded. Only other thing I've noticed is the buttons. The down volume button is perfect. The volume up button isn't clicky at all and the only way you can tell you pushed the button is looking for the on screen feedback. The power button is between the other two. The buttons might be because of how I put it on maybe so I'll take it off then put it back on.

How's access to the mute switch? And how tight does it fit along the sides? I'm very tempted to buy one myself.

Along the sides it fits well. No bowing or anything. Access to the mute switch was better on last year's version. They made the cutout larger and looking at the switch it was off center to allow room for your finger to get in there. On this one the switch is centered so it looks better but it's not as easy to just stick your finger in there and flip the switch. Maybe it'll come with practice. I'm gonna ride the case out for a day and see if I can get used to it.

Sent both the mous and rhe solidsuit back. They were both a bit slick for my liking. I'm willing to sacrifice a little protection for a little grip.

I'm now torn between the apple leather and the nomad rugged case.

Having had both, the Nomad marks way easier, worse the bottom of the case gives you alligator pinky after 5 mins, horrible to hold if that's how you hold your phone with pinky on bottom
Took me 3 goes to get one that wasn't marked out of the box or the leather where meets the rubber sides wasn't seamed even.
