I've decided on either the solidsuit or the mous limitless 2.0. Who can tell me about the difference in finishes? I'm liking the looks of the leather mous or the leather or microfiber solidsuit.

and I'd like to throw in the mix the Mous ARAMID CARBON FIBRE and Leather for comparison also for those who can answer.

I just got the Otterbox Symetery for my XS. I wish it wasn’t so slippery, hard to hold onto. I want a case that will protect well but with better grip.

Any ideas?

I ordered the Sheath. If anyone is interested, I found a coupon for 25% off (MACMIKE2017) that still works.

I’m looking forward to giving this case a go. I only have the Apple saddle brown leather now, but that open bottom bothers me at times. I’m not as concerned, because I have AC+. I know the Sheath probably won’t survive a heavy duty drop, but the bottom is covered. Plus a lot of good feedback here for this case.
.

I caved in! I ordered one before the sale ends and used the code. I love my Evutec and Apple silicone, but to many positive comments on this board not to try the Shealth for the price.

Gonna return the recent Miracase Silicone, try to sell the Verizon leather. I've got to keep case count down to ..well less than 5. For some weird (addiction like behavior;)) reason I feel the need to get a protective case in my rotation and the Mous has gotten my eye. I just have to wait for a good sale for that one.

I have the plain black Solidsuit and leather Mous 2.0 for iPhone XS. I prefer the build quality and rubbery back on the Solidsuit, but the sides of the case are just too slippery for my dry hands.

The Mous isn’t much grippier, but it’s just enough to edge out the Solidsuit for me.

I think you’ll like the Sheath. After several days of usage, I’m very pleased with it. It doesn’t add much to the thin profile of the phone. If you’re use to bulk equaling protection, the thin profile might make you question its drop rating. I haven’t dropped the phone yet, but if/when it happens the results should be interesting. :)

Let us know what you think!

Cool, thanks! Does the leather feel cheap on the mous?

And what kind of protection are we semeriously talking about with the sheath? I've got two little kids....

Caudabe claims 6.6 ft of drop protection. I don’t have experience with that *yet*, but when you see the case it’s very normal to question that claim. There have been folks in this thread who’ve dropped te phone in the case and no issue. Small kids possibly throwing around phones, I would probably go with a thicker protective case.

Yeah, that's why I'm interested in the Mous and the solidsuit.

With 2 kids..maybe the only real option is AppleCare and a lot of luck! ;)

I also have 2 young ones and case I’ll probably stick with is the Miracase Liquid Silicone. I Have the Caudabe Sheath and Ringke Fusion in rotation for if I want to change it up.

Personally my consideration (with kids) is how grippy the phone is to me so I won’t need the drop protection. But the drop rating is just extra insurance. I don’t want a phone with awesome drop protection, but so slippery that I “need” the drop protection..

I do have the Loopy Max for if I really want the phone secure in my fingers. But I’m not crazy about the slick material of the Loopy Max after living with it for a while. I have to say once my finger is in the loop, the phone is not going anywhere.

I’m not affiliated with this YouTuber..but check out MobileReviews-Eh’s channel. He reviews the cases you’re considering. He has a coupon code for the Mous for like 20% off (but I’m not sure if the coupon code is still active).

Edit: Just saw your question about Mous or SolidSuit and it’s a hard choice. Mous sounds great. But with with 2 kids and a case with the side edge lowered as a feature may not offer a peace of mind...(at least for me). But I see comments about the SolidSuit being slippery and may feel wide, making one handed use not very secure..

How are the buttons on the Miracase?

How are the buttons on the Miracase?

Personally I have no complaints about the buttons on the Miracase. My Caudabe Sheath and Ringke Fusion are my most responsive. The Miracase is a close second.

The Miracase buttons are kinda “flush” with the sides, but with the buttons have hollowed out borders. Not sure how it explain more clearly...but check out the pictures on Amazon. There are some complaints on Amazon about the button area ripping.. So not sure how durable that area is, especially for people rough on cases or if I keep swapping cases.

Edit: I think the Miracase will be my permanent case. The lips are higher than the Sheath. And to me, the case feels solid. I briefly tried the Speck Presidio Pro and didn’t like the silicone feel (too thin and not the soft feel I was expecting) and the case felt flimsy despite the drop ratings.. And compared to the Sheath, I like the thicker rounded sides making the Miracase feel more comfortable in my hands. Extended use of the Sheath, the edge “digs” into my hands a little more.
