Any pics of how the pop socket doesn’t sit flush? I’d like to try this case for my XS max but I have a pro mount car mount it needs to slide into. Does the case add a lot of extra depth to the phone? Thanks

Did you buy from other box? I’d like to find it cheaper, or preferably at Best Buy as I have a gift card.

I did buy from Otterbox. I will take some comparison photos when I get home. Not familiar with your car mount, but it might fit. The case gently slopes from the edges to the center where the PopSocket is.

I don't understand how you silicone case people do it, I tried one once and couldn't stand how hard it was to get in and out of pockets and the lint drove me crazy.

I still love the feel of my silicone (Miracase liquid silicone) a lot but the difficulty of getting in and out of pockets eventually got it me. It wasn’t so bad when I’m at home and don’t put the phone in my pockets. But when I’m out, it’s was difficult and finally I switched back to my Caudabe Sheath.

Edit: I did start doing that 10k steps a day to get my started moving over a month ago. I was using the Miracase liquid silicone at the time. The number of times I kept taking the phone out to check the number of steps and the difficulty in taking the phone in and out drove me nuts. Switched back to the Sheath after a few days of that. I did eventually buy a basic fitness tracker so I don’t have to check the phone for steps...but that’s another story.

Picked up the iGlaze from Moshi. One of the best looking sleek cases. I love the quality of it. However, it can get slippery. I use a pop socket!

Does the totallee clear have the texture inside to stop watermarking?

Prefer to have a naked phone but have tried some clear, I liked the spigen liquid on my X but was too thick, tried the ringke fusion but just couldn’t get it on without watermarks.

Currently have a sheath on and really like it because it’s nice and slim but would prefer to see the phone and be as naked as possible. Don’t have Apple Care + on this phone (Max) so a bit more hesitant about just going naked.

So, keen to try the totallee if it doesn’t have watermarking problems

After using the Dbrand Grip V2 for about 2 weeks it’s still just meh. Not a bad case at all, but nothing spectacular.

The symmetrical speaker cutouts and offset camera hole don’t bug me on a day to day basis.

Every now and then my thumb gets snagged on the flimsy lightning port, but it’s not the end of the world.

I like the grippy sides. I put a dragon skin on the back. The skin looks nice, but doesn’t offer as much grip as I expected. I did manage to goof the install a little, so the skin is a hair off center.

Because of the grippy sides, I tend to get a little more careless when handling the device. Not Dbrand’s fault. I dropped it once from about 4 feet onto thin carpet without problems.

I think this is one of those cases that I’m not crazy about, but if I were to return it, I would probably miss it and buy another one. Then I would regret repurchasing it. Lol

Can anyone identify this case that Damien Lewis is using in Billions? Looks like an Otterbox to me.

That's what happened with me and the Smart Battery case.

I decided to buy a Spigen Liquid Crystal case. I know it adds a slight bulk to the phone, but I like it nonetheless. I was deciding between this and the Ultra Hybrid, and I came close to pulling the trigger on the Ultra Hybrid, but I don't know how the buttons on that case feel. I do know how the buttons feel on the Liquid Crystal from past experience, and the buttons are still amazing. The cutout for the lightning cable is perfectly cut so it doesn't hurt my pinky when I'm resting my phone on it while using it one handed (the main things I look for in a case are the buttons and how my pinky feels because some of the cases I've used have turned my pinky purple). If there is one gripe with the Liquid Crystal is that whenever I take the case off my phone, it immediately turns cloudy. I don't know why it does that. None of the other clear cases I've owned did that but all of my previous Spigen Liquid Crystal cases have.

i found the Mous Limitless case incredibly slippery which is a shame because I think the idea of the case is great. I have had better success with the Mous Clarity case which has a much gripper material for the sides although over times I've started to feel its a bit 'plastic' and the clear back gets too many fingerprints so I'm back on an apple leather at the moment.

I am using the mous leather, the carbon fiber arrives today.

I am going to decide which one I like best and return the other.

Haven’t found it Slippery thus far, but it by no means is it a grippy case.

I used the Spigen Liquid Crystal from Wednesday to Thursday. I've since gone back to the Sheath. The top and bottom lip is fine, but the sides are higher than I'd like and really sharp. It's as if they rounded the top and bottom lip but left the sides at a point. I hope I'm not coming across as too nit-picky. I'm trying to give honest feedback.

Also, even though I keep going back to the Sheath, I don't know why I'm not happy staying with it. Something about the case seems so boring to me. I don't know what it is, but I keep looking elsewhere.
I might check out a Pela case that @rebretz000 mentioned in another thread.

Isn’t that funny - I felt the same way about the Sheath - good enough but not quite the “it” case for me.

But guess what is back on my phone today? The Sheath. Let’s see how long it makes it this time. :)

It has probably been answered elsewhere but I havent seen it.

Does wireless charging still work with the pop socket case? My wife uses a popsocket with her iphone X so she cant use wireless charging. If this would work, that would be a great alternative.

Yes. I have two of these cases; one for iPhone XS and one for iPhone 8. For the iPhone 8, most of my chargers work with the Pop Grip still attached. I also have one charger that works better if I take the Pop Grip off. On the iPhone XS, I have yet to need to remove the Pop Grip.
