Yes. I have two of these cases; one for iPhone XS and one for iPhone 8. For the iPhone 8, most of my chargers work with the Pop Grip still attached. I also have one charger that works better if I take the Pop Grip off. On the iPhone XS, I have yet to need to remove the Pop Grip.

Perfect. Thanks!

This isn’t the Pela case I ordered last week but a Speck Presido case I ordered 2 months ago that was lost in the mail. It finally arrived. I wanted this color since I got the iPhone XS in the fall. The first 6 I ordered were all defective in one way or another. Now I’m torn since I love this case but really like the idea of using biodegradable case and not adding to the plastic problem.

Looking for a grippy, transparent and yet thin case for a black XS max.

I use the sheath currently, love the case, but looking for a transparent alternative.

I know its asking for much but low lower lip will be helpful.

Check out the nimbus 9 phantom 2, I like mine.

I went on the hunt a few months ago for exactly what you are describing...Transparent, yet thin...The problem I found with clear cases is, the clear part...lol. I don't know, when they were on my Max, they just looked like plastic...with the clear looking almost white transparent around the edges...Maybe it was just me but I didn't like the look...Plus, all clear will mostly be TPU, which sort of has that plastic feel to it. I did also try the Lucid Clear from Caudabe and it's a really, nice clear polycarbonate case so it has a nice feel to it. The issue is, it's slippery as hell, at least to me.

The only clear case I found that I liked was this...The Ringke Fusion in smoke black. Compliments a black Max perfectly and some of the best buttons I've found on any case. A little thicker than the Sheath but not by much...

Having said all that, I ran with that case for awhile...and right now, the Sheath is back on my phone. Better grip all around and no dealing with smudges, drips and stuff all over it...which any clear case will pick up...

I didn't know anything about them but their black/red looks pretty nice. Could you post some pictures of yours? How are the buttons?
I can’t post pics, because my phone is my only camera, but there are plenty of pics on YouTube, the buttons are fantastic, they are metal and very responsive.

Is there such a thing as a clear case that doesn’t scratch and get covered in grease and look and feel like cheap plastic?! I’ve used the Mous clarity, spigen liquid crystal, Otterbox symmetry clear, uag plyo and tech21 pure clear and I always end up being frustrated that my iPhone now feels and looks like cheap plastic. I have the silver iPhone and love the design so it seems a shame to cover in a non clear case but I keep going back to the apple leather as I haven’t found a good enough clear one

I think the only clear cases that might work are those that are "frosted" so the texturing helps resist finger prints and stuff...The only one I can think of that might work is this:

My friend has it on his XS, and his is silver, so it goes well. I put it on my black XS max and it seemed nice....good buttons and the frosted back has some texturing, that seems like it might resist smudges and stuff. The buttons on it were nice as well. I personally didn't like it on my black XS, because it sort of gave a white, dark frosted look...but as I mentioned on a silver, it goes well...

I feel the same as you. I have tried numerous clear cases that feel and look great for the first minute or so and then are covered in fingerprints. I also have tried many thin black TPU cases and they each have their own faults - hard to press buttons, don’t have screen protection or just don’t feel good in hand. I will swap out to the other cases and can last up to a day maybe and then go back to my Apple leather case.

What color is your leather case? I have the black.

Guys, can you recommend similar cases to the Caudabe Sheath for the XS Max?

Something like this - https://roxx-case.de/collections/iphone-7-8-hulle/products/roxx-iphone-xs-max-huelle

Basically, I'm looking for a snug, thin-ish case, that is soft/plush on the inside (doesn't scratch the phone getting it in and out) and hard/protective on the outside. Preferably black with no branding or minimal branding, no cutout for the Apple logo, and very grippy.

Thanks in advance! :)

I'm not sure what you've tried but the rhinoshield solid suit is close to what you're asking for. It's not exactly "plush" inside but definitely does NOT scratch the phone taking it off or on. I switch cases weekly and it's still working great for me. Just has "rhinoshield" on the side, no branding on the back.

Thanks! Checked it out. I actually had a Rhinoshield case before and it chipped off parts of the coating on my matte-black 7 Plus. Not sure if it was the same case though. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

I am using the mous leather. Good fit, thin with solid protection. Minimal branding as well

Take a look at the Nomad Rugged. It has a plush inside, offers grear drop protection, no branding at all on the outdide, and good grip due to the leather on the back. I have been using the Rugged since the X came out and never found a better case (for what I sm looking for).

Still rocking my Caudabe Sheath in carbon.

Easy in and out of pocket during walks, good grip, no fingerprints and slim.

Did you decide leather vs carbon then? Very solid feeling case but it is a little heavier.

Tried solid suit as well but that case is so hard to get off
I find the mous a little heavier than the SS but it’s a better grip and feel in hand imo.

That said, right now the leather is on, still haven’t decided with the CF. I like that the CF can’t have issues with rain but it finger prints like crazy.

Totallee makes a nice clear case.
