Is it grippy ?

I got the ringke fusionx smoked case as suggested and though it adds a bit bulk , but like the feeling in hand.

It’s grippy enough just based on being clear TPU. The main drawback for me is that it shows fingerprints like crazy.

Take a look at the Nomad Rugged. It has a plush inside, offers grear drop protection, no branding at all on the outdide, and good grip due to the leather on the back. I have been using the Rugged since the X came out and never found a better case (for what I sm looking for).

I think the only clear cases that might work are those that are "frosted" so the texturing helps resist finger prints and stuff...The only one I can think of that might work is this:

My friend has it on his XS, and his is silver, so it goes well. I put it on my black XS max and it seemed nice....good buttons and the frosted back has some texturing, that seems like it might resist smudges and stuff. The buttons on it were nice as well. I personally didn't like it on my black XS, because it sort of gave a white, dark frosted look...but as I mentioned on a silver, it goes well...

I put a frosted case on my gold XS Max because I tired of the fingerprint smudges on my clear case. I like the look of the matte case and no more smudges!

For the ladies that like a little blingy. Bought the case for 7.99, the ring on back for 3.99, and a screen protector 4.99.
All at TJ Maxx. This case is a little thin, that's why I bought the screen protector. I actually like this screen protector.

Also just got this case with lenses. Nice but issues with screen protectors if you use one and silence button is questionable. Lenses are nice but initially difficult to attach the first time. We’ll see what happens.

Took a chance and ordered a Nimbus9 Phantom 2 case for my max. I actually really like it and will be keeping it, the first clear case I've tried that I like. It's not perfectly clear, there's a checkered/hex pattern on the back and the edges are smoke but the buttons are by far the best of any clear tpu type case I've tried, nearly the equal of the Solid Suit buttons. A little expensive but I'm happy with it.

Grippy but not hard to get into or out of pocket, mute switch is easy to get to, fit is very good for a tpu case (it's no solid suit but nothing else I've tried is either), and the cut outs are very good.

When you get the case, please let us know how the buttons feel. When I purchased the Liquid Crystal, I considered this case (and really wanted it), but I went with the Liquid Crystal because I've owned that case before, so I knew what I was getting.

Just put it on. Buttons a super responsive. As good as Apple’s or the Solid Suit. No problems. Fist impressions are that I like it but the back of the case is a fingerprint magnet.

I've been using the Plasma too and love it.

Went for extra protection after knocking my phone off the bedside unit and destroying the super thin scratch only protection case it was wearing.

The Plasma in red looks great, especially in sunlight.

I've decided to give the Apple silicone case a chance. I really love the way the Apple Smart Battery case feels, but I don't like the weight and (as I've mentioned before) I absolutely hate the buttons. I'm hoping the regular silicone case has better buttons.

i had this frosted clear silk case on my XS. within 6 weeks it had picked up the blue color from my jeans pocket (where i keep my phone).

i contacted silk and they send me a replacement, a non-clear variety.

I was looking at their frosted nudist and frosted grip. I was concerned that there might be some material color bleeding Thats unfortunate.

Interesting - I having had any issues with mine but I only seldom carry it in my jeans pocket.

my wife has the same case for her XR, and hers has held up fine too but she carries it in her purse, not pocket.

I’ve been using the Apple silicone case for a couple of days now. I feel like it hugs the phone more than the leather case and doesn’t feel as wide, so I prefer the dimensions of the silicone case better. The buttons are better than the Smart Battery case but aren’t as tactile as the ones on previous generations.

Been using Mous carbon fiber the longest. Felt tough, added some weight but the sides were too slick. I used those “strips” and it was pretty great in adding a lot of grip to the slicker sides.

Got the Dbrand grip 2 and it reminds me a lot of the Mous. Definitely lighter weight. And has some actual grip built in. That, with no fingerprints and I’ll take it as my new daily driver. Did the black camo skin and it looks great. Did I say no fingerprints!!

Not perfect, but the best I’ve used to far.

Mine is not. I have the XR. It isn’t as hard as the Mous but is about the same as my Speck Grip case. It isn’t a concern for me.
