Got a Sheath today after reading about it a lot on here, can’t say I’m overly impressed. Like how it looks but not how it feels, feels like my Lander Torrey case I got from the Apple Store.
Prefer my Ringke Fusion, Spigen Liquid Crystal.
Will carry on with it in the hope that I’ll get to like it.

I think they might have changed the material they use. I posted this earlier in this thread, but I recently bought a replacement for my Sheath after giving away my original, and the new one doesn't feel the same. The new one is slippery. The material of the original had more texture to it. I would describe my original Sheath as having the same texture as a lava rock. The replacement I received feels like the rock has been eroded and smoothed over. I can still feel the texture, but it's dull and the pores aren't as pronounced. Also, the cutouts for the speaker and lightning cable are sharper on the new one, so it hurts my pinky finger while the phone rests on it.

I have the Spigen Liquid Crystal, too, but I can't stand the tall lip. I know a lot of people prefer a taller lip for drop protection, but I can't stand how it feels when I'm swiping side to side. My preference is a case with a lip that's either flush or lower than the screen. Not to mention the lip of my Liquid Crystal isn't rounded but pointy, as if that's where they sealed two points of TPU and forgot to smooth it down.

If you're looking for leather, Vaja has 25% off site wide this weekend with code "REMEMBER"

I hear ya about the prices of Apple's cases, which are nice, but if I'm gonna spend big bucks on a leather case, I prefer to spend it on leather that hasn't been so heavily processed, homogeneous in appearance, and lost much of its natural charm, so-to-speak.

We've reached the point where the quality of vinyl is so good, and the quality of leather has declined, so that the two can almost be indistinguishable except for the smell. This is particularly true with automotive leather, which is basically top-coated animal hide.

Cool thanks for the link. It’s a bit pricey but I’ll keep it in mind. I actually came across the Apple one at a Best Buy open box so I picked one up. I also ordered a Nomad that will be in this week. So I’ll start with these two and go from there.

So just got the Nomad folio in and have been using the Apple Leather folio for the past few days. Just switched to the Nomad. The Nomad feels so much nicer and seems to hold the few cards I have better. The leather on the Apple felt so soft and the cards already seemed to be loose in that one. The Nomad also seems smaller when talking on the phone since the hinge is smaller. With that said, I really liked the sleep/wake of the Apple case, and that bigger hinge seemed to help the front flap close all the way and stay closed instead of partially staying open like the Nomad does.

Guess we’ll see after a few days of the Nomad which one I stick with.

I have the Apple Silicone Case, but I'm not happy with the button feedback, so I decided to check out the Miracase Liquid Silicone Case and the TORRAS [Love Series] Liquid Silicone Gel Rubber Shockproof Case (I don't know if that's the official name or just the description).
Here are random thoughts on the cases:

- The buttons on the TORRAS are absolutely perfect! It has the same amazing button feedback as the the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case, which I feel is still the best out of all silicone cases. The Miracase has the second best, but they're recessed into the case, which makes them harder to get to and press. It might not seem like they're that deep, but my fingers couldn't get used to the extra travel it took to press the buttons.
- The black on the Apple is a darker black than the other two (the Miracase and the TORRAS are a dark gray).
- The microfiber lining feels the best on the Miracase (the Apple is second place), but the lining has already come unglued from the inside of my Miracase.
- The Apple and TORRAS has the same silicone feel. The Miracase feels nice, but not as soft as the other two.
- The Miracase is taller and wider than the other two.
- The Miracase has the bottom covered with individual holes for each speaker hole. However, it has more holes than needed. For example, there are four speaker holes to the left of the lightning cable but seven holes on the case.
- The Miracase (as far as I can tell) has no branding. TORRAS has branding on the inside. Apple has branding on the back.

I was thinking about checking out the Spigen Silicone Fit, but I'm not going to anymore. The TORRAS is perfect. I love it. These are the silicone buttons I've been looking for. I'm kicking myself for not purchasing this case sooner.

In all of the below pictures, the order is Apple, Miracase, and TORRAS.

I've been using the leather (real leather) case from Saddleback for a few months now. It's the first time in a few years that I've gone with a case that was not folio style, but I wanted to give the real leather case a try. It's rugged looking and very unique, unlike any other case I've seen.
How are you liking this case? Photos, please.

Can any of you compare the dbrand grip with either the mous or solid suit? It's on sale right now and I'm tempted.

Can any of you speak about how dbrand does with returns and refunds?

That looks interesting but not for $20. I'd be really worried about my phone in that. I ended up ordering and then returning a Vaja grip because the top of the phone wouldn't be protected at all.

I would be worried that the case becomes loose over time and the phone just falls out. At least with other snap-on cases, there's still a little bit of a lip that helps.

I have the black Apple leather case but Got the Olive Mujjo leather case for my gold XS Max today - I was desperate for the Forest Green Apple case but cannot get one for love nor money.

Stunning case and the leather feels so much more premium than Apple’s. I love it at the moment, I’ll give it a few days to see if I decide to keep it. Only thing I wish it did have was the aluminium buttons.

Anyone have the Mujjo Olive case and have any images of how it wears over time?

Are the Torras and Apple silicone cases the same size / thickness?

It's hard to tell. I've attached pictures for comparison. If the TORRAS is smaller, it's very slight. Also, I feel like the one from Apple feels a little more rigid/stiff, which probably explains why the buttons are a little harder to press.

What do you not like about the sheath? I have had one for about three months now and love it.

If anyone in the UK is interested, I have a genuine Apple XS Max leather case in black for sale. Only used for two weeks, looking for around the £30-35 mark plus postage.

I see one of these (Native Union Cliq Marquetry) today at the Apple Store, very nice leather case but they only had stock for the XS max. Searching for a X version now.

Just bought this case. Very nice, i like how the bottom is covered unlike the Apple leather.

Bit lighter than the Mous and Rhinoshield too. Im still struggling to settle on a case, amazon must think im crazy lol

Native Union makes amazing looking cases! How do you think its drop protection compares to the Mous and RhinoShield?
