I've been using the Sheath as I wait for my Totallee Clear (Soft) to arrive (it's out for delivery), but I figured I'd give an update on the TORRAS Love Series Case I used for a little bit. I've mentioned that the buttons on the case are much, much better than the buttons on the Apple Silicone Case, but I think this comes at the expense of the sides of the case. I'll try to explain. If I put my phone in the TORRAS top first and bottom last, the two bottom corners get indented (or squished) inwards. If I put my phone in the TORRAS bottom first and top last, then the two top corners get indented (or squished) inwards. Since the case fits snug, there's no way for me to get those indents out (I've tried sliding a toothpick side to side in there, but no luck).
For the longest time, I thought chunks of the case were missing until I realized the sides were just squished.
I guess the buttons on the Apple Silicone Case are harder to press because the actual material itself is more rigid and has better integrity to prevent things like this from happening. Maybe this is a testament to the R&D department at Apple. I guess they thought a slightly stiff button press is better than the sides of the case getting smooshed.
I hope this makes sense.
Again, I don't want people to think I only find the negative in cases. There's so many reviews (especially on YouTube) that only toot nothing but praise, so I want to let people know about the flip side of the coin. I'm trying to give an honest (and hopefully helpful) assessment on the various cases I use.
