My goodness that’s hideous lol. Thank goodness it’s “aerodynamic” so when I get sick of looking at it it will fly far

Yeah, I kind of thought so, too. Meant to put quotes around “interesting”, lol. I wondered if their claim that the frame could really help improve the antenna signal actually has any real merit.

I couldn’t find anything on it other than what’s on their website, so I wondered if anyone had tried one.

Definitely not feminine. I’ll stick with my Speck Clear Glitter on my gold Max until the next great case catches my eye.

Me too. I hope they'll release the white and gray colors for the Max. I'll be buying one for sure.
Light blue, red and gray for me. I had their white before and it got dirty fast, wonder if it is a different coat of material this time around.

Flush buttons on the symmetry are starting to get to me. A lot of the time I can’t find them by touch. I’m finding myself having to look for them in order to press them. Idk might be going back. *facepalm*

Had this for my X and Easily one of my favorites. Glad to have it for MAX.

Ironically, I was just at my local target. The guy in the tech department told me to come back tomorrow, as there will be a lot more cases out.

They had to go hunt this one down for me... One of few case that I actually appreciate their car mount. Very good case for money and definitely spent more on cases I liked LESS.

Edit: My local Target has like NO Max cases out YET.

I just purchased a cheap SPIGEN "Liquid Crystal" Thin Soft Clear Cover, and a Gorilla Glass screen protector. Just to protect from bumps and small drops. I like using the phone naked (not me make ;-) ) but I resell my phones each year in order to upgrade so it's important to keep it from getting scratches and dints.

How do you find this case? Id love a good clear case but always find them too sticky in the hand...

Very nice! I see the box says “military-grade drop protection”, but now how many feet. Do you know how many?

Yeah, it probably isn’t an accident that it doesn’t tout a drop height. I wouldn’t trust it for anything crazy for sure. Around house I 100% trust it though... well and normal circumstances

Hey I’ve been reading the reviews and noticed you had used a couple cases. Had some questions: the symmetry - how does the size compare to the speck case you’ve had or the caudabe? I expect it’s bigger, but if so, is it quite noticeably larger?

Also, have you had the symmetry for phones in the past to know if it’s any less wide than previous versions? I understand it’s supposed to be a little slimmer in thickness.

I’ve never liked the symmetry before because they pushed the limit on size for me.
Thanks

The symmetry is thinner than the speck and thicker than the caudabe. Noticeably larger than the caudabe Sheath yes. But with that you get the symmetry protection. Seems like it would do a better job at drops. The Sheath is a little bit thinner than the Apple cases if you’ve used them.

This new symmetry feels significantly thinner than the one I had last year. I don’t think they actually reduced it by a whole lot but it feels like it. It’s still pretty wide IMO. They just reduced the front to back thickness. And the buttons are much more responsive. The problem which I noted above is that they are too flush and kind of hard to find without looking.

I used to LOVE their cases. How’s the grip on that one? I’m assuming they figured out how to do wireless charging and the magnetic mount in one? Or no?

I wouldn’t say it’s the most grippy your gonna find; it isn’t a presidio grip or anything. It is relatively grippy on sides however the back is rather slick. My previous experience tells me back will become less slippy as it builds up skin oils and such.

Yeah a few post up is a pic of back of box stating claims to not affect wireless charging. I know on my X it didn’t affect it and would assume the same for Max, albeit I haven’t thrown it on wireless charger yet to personally validate such claims.

It really is a good well rounded case for the money; a bargain IMO. Definitely paid more for cases of lesser quality and less favorable design and handling. I wouldn’t want to do any crazy drops but would totally trust it for day to day disasters lol. And for some reason Evutec car mounts are the only ones I have ever had good luck with and LIKED.

How is this fit? My concern is always to top and bottom lips being flimsy
