Reading on the Mini is only ok if you have eyes of a 13 year old. There is another thing to consider about the mini, if your coming from a 6s like me.
The width of my 6s is 2.64 inches
The width of the mini is 2.53 inches.
I read a lot of articles on my 6s throughout the work day (away from home) and going down on the width for the mini is going to make reading a bit more difficult. I've been so use to my 6s for 5 yrs that I don't want to go with a smaller width phone and I really want better battery life. I really think the 12 pro is a better fit for me, it's not that much larger footprint than my 6s. The 12 pro also seems like a much nicer upgrade from my 6s.

Is this one of those trick pictures? You see blue I see purple/lavender... hahaha...While I agree that 5.4” isn’t quite “mini”, note that the aspect ratio is different from your Galaxy Note II, which makes a significant difference. Galaxy Note II in blue, iPhone 12 mini in green (screen dimensions):

This! I'd order both and send one back. I think Apple knows 1) people are impatient and 2) the mini/Pro max will outsell the 12 so they're trying to get the margins up
There’s always situations where plugging the phone in is handy even if we wireless charge most of the time. I wouldn’t be changing my car just because a port is missing off my phone lol, that’s absurd. Carrying around wireless chargers instead of a convenient cable also isn’t ideal.I am really sorry then you will need to upgrade your car soon. Either keep the iPhone without charging port or current car.Look we should have an iPhone inside which has a battery-like component which charges itself when provided current through waves. That's the future we should look for my friend. Forget USB-C.

I'm wondering if I should go for the 12 Pro or the Mini. Today I have the 7 Plus, which is WAY to big and heavy.
Sometimes I just leave the phone and just wear my applewatch because of the size.
The smaller battery isn't any concern for me, but how small will the keyboard be?.
What should I choose?, maybe the best thing would be to wait and see them both in real life?.

Note that the width of the actual display is 2.27 inches for the mini vs. 2.30 inches for the 6s, a difference of just 0.77 mm or 1.3 %. It should be almost imperceptible. There is another thing to consider about the mini, if your coming from a 6s like me.

Good luck. The Mini won’t be on display anywhere until the day of release, as is the case with every iPhone release.
I’m in the exact situation as you. Don’t really want anything bigger than the 11 Pro, figured I’ll try something different this year. And honestly, worst case scenario if I immediately regret the decision I could still return the Mini to get the Pro, even on the Upgrade program.I’m back in the mini camp.
Was going to get the 12 pro, but I’m coming from the 11 pro, and at the end of the day, I don’t want a bigger phone.
Yeah, I might leave some battery life and some camera upgrades on the table, but even if I hate it, I’m a yearly upgrader and confident I can live with any device for a year.
Well, I was going to order the standard 12, after wanting the Mini size for like a year and talking myself out of it because of impatience. But I decided, at the last second, to wait for the Mini after all. I did however order the new iPad Air, ha.
What is it about OLED that gives people eyestrain? Have you tried turning down the brightness?
I'm toying with the idea of getting a Mini. Currently using a XS. I'm curious how the actual screen looks like on the Mini. Do I get fewer rows of icons on the Home screen or are the icons (and ext) smaller than on my XS?
