Other Who else is buying iPhone 12 Mini?

If it follows past trends that sounds right.I wish they were releasing the 12 mini reviews at the same time

Strongly thinking of joining the mini club here. Just received my iPhone 12 Pro silicone cover today from Apple. Not much smaller than my 11 Pro Max and perhaps still a little larger for comfortable single handed use. Also not very pocketable.

My only reason fro going for the Pro was the slightly better camera stats (telephoto lens, proRAW, etc). Now thinking that slight benefit in photo/video quality may not be worth the trade-off for less comfort...

Thought I'd share some case photos since it seems to help some people out with regards to the Mini's size perspective.

Although the pictures really don't do it justice, I do love a smaller phone that ticks a lot of boxes.

Ps. I tried to keep the cases as aligned as possible.

No worries.
What I should point out for those on the fence with regards to the iPhone 12 Pro vs the 11 Pro, is that the real major difference is in hight. And it's very small.
I put my iPhone 11 Pro in the 12 Pro case and the sides almost fit perfectly but the hight is a little short.

I don't have the biggest hands but what I'll try and do later is take a pic of each case in my hand separately for possibly a better reference point for others.

Yep, the iPhone 12 Pro is only 0.11” higher than the 11 Pro 🙌

Are you me? I got home from work to my iPhone 12 pro silicone case and compared it to my 8 plus with Apple leather case. It’s too big. Going to cancel my preorder and wait for the mini reviews to make sure I’m happy with the display/text scaling. I’m sure I can adjust to no telephoto camera.

Haha! I also think those aluminium bezels will be easier for my OCD- hate fingerprints! 😂 (may just get a sleeve if I go for the mini then...)
 
Would love to see that without camera flash on. The color is going to be heavily skewed based on how poor that lighting is. Either way though, I like it. Ha.

I think the lighting definitely is making it look a bit worse than it would in real life, but still not for me. I'm not loving the colors this time around. I guess I'll go with black.
 
That blue would have looked better with bare aluminium edges. Not sure why apple decided to go with those shades of blue, red and green this year. Black and white versions look good though.

I agree. That's how iPhone 4 was. But back in the days Apple probably didn't want to spend extra money on colored anodized aluminum. Or maybe they wanted more premium appearance even though aluminum would have been cheaper. It was made of stainless steel, iirc, which is heavier.

One sorta good thing about the 12 mini shipping later is that those of us close to an Apple Store should be able to check out the colors of the regular 12 before ordering opens up for the 12 mini.

I know I'd get the blue if it had the regular aluminum edges, but not sure how I feel about the all blue. Back to leaning towards the white.

Why i am waiting for the mini now, and the weight is same as my 11 pro.
 
If it weren't for the fact that the mini takes a pretty big hit in the battery life department, I'd probably get it.
