Darn it, the 12 Pro blue looks ****ing good while the 12/12 Mini blue looks... ok.

Totally, the 12 looks like a toy in that blue near the Pro

My se2 lasts me a full day. I’m at 37% as we speak and will be heading to bed in about an hour. I’m still really tempted to order the 128 12 seeing tmobile is offering me $300 trade in value for my se2. I paid $315 for it directly from apple. I just don’t know if I’ll be ok with a heavier/bigger phone. Maybe I’ll wait it out and see if tmobile still offers me $300 trade in value when the mini is released.

“Toy Blue” is a perfect description. This just confirms I need to see the colors in person before ordering.

Strongly thinking of joining the mini club here. Just received my iPhone 12 Pro silicone cover today from Apple. Not much smaller than my 11 Pro Max and perhaps still a little larger for comfortable single handed use. Also not very pocketable.

My only reason fro going for the Pro was the slightly better camera stats (telephoto lens, proRAW, etc). Now thinking that slight benefit in photo/video quality may not be worth the trade-off for less comfort...

Me too ... Amazon is offering returns up to January 30, so I have plenty time to test it with the Mini side by side.

I´ll get the Spigen case, it adds some bulk and 25 g of wight, let´see how they work together.

I’m a little concerned too about the downscaling and how small the text might appear. I don’t understand all this resolution stuff and my eyes aren’t the best. I am currently on a iPhone 8 so hopefully it’s not smaller than that. I currently use Display Zoom on my device and that helps.

Same! And I've been reading a 6.4 inch screen all this time so went with the standard 12 to give my eyes a chance!! I can't be squinting at the screen every day even with my glasses on!

Well I have just cancelled my 12 Pro Pacific Blue order. I have been in very much two minds about the size of the Pro. Eventually realised that I want a smaller and more pocketable phone than a heavy slab!
iPhone Mini seems like the better choice for me at the moment!

I had been chasing camera for years on my iPhone upgrades. I went out and bought a Fuji XT-4 for videos of the kids and pets and I will say my days of buying an iPhone for the camera are over. There is just no way anytime soon the iPhone will catch a proper camera for video. So I’m getting rid of my 11 Pro for the Mini. Just need to decide on White or Green.

Not iPhone related, but the Viltrox prime lenses for the X-mount are crazy values for the money. I have the 23mm 1.4, 56 1.4 and ordered the 85 1.8. If you are needing primes give them a look.
