Really wish there were a way to get a hands on before pre-order.
I'm a big fan of the Original SE, so I've been craving an updated "small phone". I'm bummed about the 12-mini being less capable from a photography perspective compared to the Pro models, but I'm still pretty set on ordering the mini as soon as pre-orders open up.
I have an X, I'd get the Mini in a heartbeat if it had the telephoto lens. I use that all the time on my X. I may still get it but causes me pause.
Convenient to keep in a pocket. Miserable to look at with eyeballs older than 13 years old.
This 👆👍It will likely be my next phone but I’m not ready to upgrade quite yet. The size/screen ratio is sweet.
Yeah my old se 1 still gets an outing. Such a great little device and even runs iOS 14.Copping the mini. Love the way my SE work phone feels in my hand compared to my XR. Can’t wait.
There were stories that iPhone will intelligently only use 5g at the point it makes a difference, so won’t be permanently sending/receiving everything at that wavelength but will use 4g instead to save power drain. I was too keen to not skip through the keynote at high speed so maybe they mentioned...5G is going to cook that battery.
I cannot decide on the color!!!Blue Mini for me. I have the 11 now. I used to always go with the plus sized phones but I do a lot of one handed texting now and I am tired of doing that on the 11. Can’t wait for a smaller screen and easier one handed typing.

Really torn between the mini and Pro. On the one hand, I love the idea of a smaller, lighter (significantly - 2 ounces) and cheaper (significantly - $300) phone but I do use the zoom on my 11 Pro and it sounds like LiDAR will help portraits (only in Night Mode, though?). If mini had zoom instead of ultra-wide (which I rarely use), it would be a no-brainer
Me.
iPhones should be small.
Those who needs big iPhones should get the iPads.
It's sad that we need a James Bond music to show a "small" phone.
15 years ago, every company was fighting to get a smaller, thinner one.
Now all those visions are gone.
I think most of us will be lucky to ever see a 5G symbol come up on our phones within the next year to 18 months anyway.
