I know...that was my first reaction when I read it was...wait this is the Verge?
But its a fair review....

Agree. Without actually using the new features, the criticisms he pointed out seem spot on. 3D Touch seems to be quite a useful addition to iOS but we won't see how useful in can become until third party apps start implementing it, something that, if extensibility is any indication, may take a while.

I still can't seem to decipher the Verge's scoring methodology. I know the overall score isn't an avg. of the individual segment scores but I still don't see how the Note 5 would be rated that much lower than the iPhone. And while I noticed that they added a new item to the 'Bad Stuff' list from when I first read it this morning--specifically regarding the 16GB storage in the entry level model, I think the same 'expensive' criticism levied against the latest Samsung devices should apply here as well. Overall thought, I though the content of the review seemed pretty accurate.

My 6 Plus has been lagging on IOS 9 too. I'll bet there will an update in about a month or so to fix it. This gives incentive to more IP 6 owners to upgrade to the 6s.
Impossible! Going by forums, ios doesnt lag and that is an android thing

Wow....this lady got her iPhone 6s early by mistake. What was one of the first things she did? She ran benchmarks on the new phone and it is a monster!

Yeah, those benchmark numbers are nuts. I wonder if Apple is using the new flash drives that samsung started using in the s6, combine that with the a9 and how optimized iOS is and this phone should be insanely fast. Maybe this means multi window will be coming to the plus too? It can surely handle it.

I have no doubt the existing 6 & 6 Plus could handle multi-window as it is. However Apple has made the design choice that multiwindow is reserved for tablet devices from a usability standpoint rather than any true technical limitation.

Much same as multi-touch gestures etc ...

Hence don't expect to see it this generation of iOS anyway. Maybe iOS X

It's single core geek benxh score is more powerful than the macbook retina (not pro).

This is both impressive for the iPhone and sad for the macbook, being such an expensive device.

MKBHD has apparently had his for two weeks but was under NDA. Now that's been lifted he can post his unboxing and will post review soon. He can also share impressions on twitter now too.

I might order an Apple Watch down the road in the next few weeks. Was hesitant to try it out, but the Android Wear on iOS is a shell of what is on Android.
My apple watch arrived today. .loving the look but need my 6S plus now to use it

Isn't the upcoming iPad Pro using an A9X? Should be real interesting to see where it clocks in. Considering it's probably not a very worthwhile experience to try to run more intensive applications on the rMB, thus somewhat negating the full OS advantage, between the two, the IPad Pro may actually appear to be the better value for some. Another sad testament to the rMB.

All that being said, there is certainly a market for the rMB as my wife has one and loves it...fits her needs perfectly (highly portable and mostly web based functionality). Put a bit more horsepower under the hood and it become a viable option for many more people.

I doubt I'll ever have a smart watch myself but for those that like them they are nice little gadgets. :)

I've enjoyed using smart wearables, to varying degrees, since I started with the original Pebble. I also really like my Apple Watch but didn't realize how much I use it until I didn't wear it for a few days. Now I feel sort of naked without it.

Yeah, that's what I'm waiting, a bit more power and one more USB-C port. 2017 might be the year I retire my 11" air (2011)

Few questions. Does it have GPS? Does it have Wi-Fi? How's the battery life? Is 38mm vs 44mm a huge difference? Is responding to messages intuitive? How does it compare to Android Wear?

I was very enthused about the iPad Pro after the keynote. Was going to get one to replace my 13.3 rMBP. But after thinking it through more closely I may not get it. I would really like a couple more ports to maybe connect it to an external monitor or TV.

Yeah, I don't expect multi window on the 4.7" version, but the 5.5" I hope apple allows it. Does the iphone version of iOS have multi window? In the code i mean, I remember iOS 8 had it but it was disabled.

Yeah, I was super impressed with the iPad pro, but I can't really see how it would work in my life, if I had money to burn I would buy it to have and play with, but at that price I need to find some use for it.
