That was the easiest iPhone purchase at launch in years. Store came up on the iPhone Apple Store app for me at 3:01, had my 6s+ purchased by 3:02.

Now, unfortunately, can't sleep. Grrrr....

I can't wait to get mines around Christmas. I plan to get it off Swappa or eBay since I'm not on contract and don't want to pay full price right now or monthly notes.

Read the post. No rich people do not buy a product because it costs more, it's the poor people that do it. The student, the unemployed, the kids will all do want they can to buy that iPhone before ensuring they can feed themselves.

Also whilst Apple costs more their products are excellent not junk. It's a combination of having a good product and being the most prestigious in their field. It's why people buy unreliable automatic watches for £20k +

People will real money do not buy Android phones a full RRP. I'm a multi multi millionaire have about 5 phones at any one time not to mention 5 or more tablets but would never pay close to RRP for the Edge Plus or Z5( the phones I want to get soon). Yes I know about investing.
Again....that's an assumption.

People buy what they prefer. People with real do pay full price for phones other than iPhones.

I do get you point otherwise, though.

Didn't even realize today was preorder day.

Reserved one for in store pickup at 7:00 am EST, scheduled for day of the release. That was ridiculously easy...now I just have to debate on if I am going or now.

I'll most likely get it just to check it out, and then compare between it and my Note 5.

Yeah, Either Apple really got it together this time and made sure their servers and inventory were up to demand, or there isn't the same level of fervent demand for this version. I'm going to guess the latter. People went nuts over finally having a larger iPhone last year. This year, just not the same level of excitement. Time will tell.

So what storage size? And what are you looking forward to most on it?

I sprung for 128GB Space Grey 6s Plus. And most looking forward to seeing if 3D Touch actually lives up to the hype. Also really interested in the new and improved cameras.

I'm skipping the pre-order. I don't want to get caught up in a hype purchase where I lose more than I gain.

The Galaxy S6 is a phenomenal phone. Probably the best I've ever used, and a solid "lifestyle" product for me. I want to see some iPhone 6S reviews about real world battery life, charge times, camera quality and software stability before leaping back to Apple.

Now I have an extra two weeks to ensure I am making an informed purchase.

This the easiest fastest pre order I have done. Ordered the 6s plus 64GB space gray through Verizon. Vzw site let me start 3 minutes early with my line upgrade and I was done my midnight. Got the confirmation email in seconds. Fastest pre order ever.

I just ordered another one as the Wife decided she wanted one. Rose gold 64g ships in 2-3 weeks. I'm a little worried because I've only received 2 email confirms so far.

I'm debating on 64 or 128. I suspect 64 would be plenty, but I'll probably have this phone for two years and I don't want to end up juggling space like I'm doing on my current phone.

I bought my new 6 on swappa. I got it cheaper than what Apple sells it for. It has been a solid iPhone so far. Might do the same thing with the 6s plus. I really want to try a plus and see if I like it.

I honestly don't know what to get at this point. I real
Like the Note 5 for the Spen and its thin bezels . I'd like the idea of having a Nexus 5x for the latest updates and I like the idea of the iPhone for its OSX integration. I'd like a iPhone 6 s Plus but those bezels are HUGE!! I'm shocked Jonny Ive thought the iPhone Plus was good design.

Osx integration can be achieved on Android. Slidesync, push bullet, etc.

Note 5 is great. Reserved an iPhone, but pretty sure I'll end up sticking with the note 5.

Me too, actually probably early November if things go similarly to last year. And it's really bumming me out

I look forward to the iOS 9 upgrade though and especially WatchOS 2 to keep the gadget nerd side of me happy.
