Yeah, I'm getting one, but suddenly I'm not sure which one anymore. I sold my 6 last week with the idea I would get the 6S, but now that I'm using my 6 plus again and am thinking of getting the 6S Plus instead. Will get either 128gb 6S or 64gb 6S Plus.
How come you had the 6 and 6+?

Well, I started with the 6 plus as my media/gaming phone and had the HTC one m8 as my work phone which I use mainly for calls. I then got the Note 4 as my media phone and switched the iPhone over to my work phone and found it better as my work phone, I have a lot of clients with iPhone's and it was easier with FaceTime and imessage. I got tired of carrying 2 large phones, and tried the GS6 as my work phone with my 6plus as my media phone again, but really missed my note 4, so I then traded my GS6 for a regular iPhone 6 and paired that with my note 4 and it was great. The 6 plus I kept and plan to give it to my son. Now I upgraded to the Note 5, and last week sold my regular iPhone 6 to buy the 6S and began using the 6 plus again.

Though now I'm torn again whether I should stick with my original plan or get the 6S Plus instead. It might be because I haven't had to carry both large phones around that long, I did get sick of it before, but my other train of thought is that I may be moving in which case I would only carry one phone again, and with my apple watch and apples ecosystem I may just stick with the iphone, even though I love my Note 5. And if I'm only going to carry one phone I would prefer the 6S Plus over the 6S.

I'm exhausted just from reading your ordeal. ;)

Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
You assume everyone who buys an iphone uses it to it full potential.

The iphone to many has become more than just a phone. My 65 yr old mum has asked me to buy her a new 6S and to give away her 6. She has a PAYG sim which I topped up with £10 last year and today still has £7 worth of credit. She turns data off and doesn't even know how to use most apps.

Also you talk about 4k video. I wont even be using 4k video and I will buy a 128gb device. 99% of owners will probably not use 4k video.

In short 16gb is fine to some people. However I do agree that the 16gb offering is greed but at the same time a 32gb option would be as useless as the 16 gb version for nearly everyone on here.

Android fools people with their SD card option but the SD card is almost as useless as no memory (at least until Marshmallow arrives). They in the end are actually worse because they only usually offer a 32gb or 64gb option.

Apple can get away with the 16g because of history. Samsungs history is full of junk products especially their tablets. To this day I still cannot get over how appalling alot of Samsungs products have been. Sony have been doing it better for years but you US guys prefer to buy the rubbish Samdung delivers. Its only in 2015 that Samdung has improved (although still not on the tablet side).

So because you won't use the feature then it means no one else should be able to on the 16gb model? And you can record video and photos direct to SD cars and move installed apps to them in Android 5.1 and why the hell are talking about, no, moaning about Samsung?
Apple gets away with it because of its marketing department and Apple apologists.

It still doesn't mean the product is flawed. 16GB is bad of course but that has nothing to do with the actual product.

Would be like me saying the note 5 or edge plus is flawed because there is no 128GB storage option for most markets.

How is having a feature on a device that if you use means you can't also have games or apps installed nothing to do with the product? If you use all the features you are limited.

Of course you can still have apps and games on there. Just not high GB ones. You are limited but how much space you have has nothing to do with the product

Is my S6 edge flawed? I have basically no space left

Just wait till all those iPhone buyers realize live photos are crushing their memory.

According to macbreak weekly, the Live Photos will only be twice as big as a regular photo, basically 1 live photo for every 2 regular photos.

No one who buys a 16gb is going to give a monkeys about 4k video. Most people who buy any iPhone are not going to give a monkeys about 4k video. Lots of people are just about coping with HD. DVDs still outsell blu Ray.

As for Sd card, yes we all know they can store personal photos and videos. however that's all they can do. They can't store apps nor video/data from most apps. They are absolutely useless unless you watch pirated stuff or like to store lots of music on your phone.

Also, I know this might sound counter intuitive but the day Apple sells their products cheap, the day people stop buying them. I doubt you will understand.

samsung low end models really do give samsung a bad name, I cant reccomend a low end samsung phone in good conscience, performs significantly worse than say a moto e or g and they are hardly if at all get their software updated. I'm not even sure I would agree that they make midrange devices at all. The closest thing would probably be the galaxy alpha, but thats moreso a high end compact device for me.

They must have it figured out that they make more money with all these models, but I dont understand it. People must be buying them though, because samsung sure has volume

you can call samsung a midtier brand i guess, but their flagships have tip top bleeding edge hardware

as far as macbooks in coffee shops, dont know what to tell you, coffee shops have the kind of people that are apples target demographic. If they are going to pay extra for a cup of coffee every day, they probably will pay extra for their computers too. Go in dunkin donuts or mcdonalds and I doubt youll see many macbooks :p I have a windows laptop, but I never do work in coffee shops and at this point the only reason i use a PC over phone/tablet is work

Haha, yeah no MacBooks in the McDs here too. Just android phones and old school dumb phones.

Yes I agree Samsung flagship devices are good phones. However their pricing relative to brand image prevents them gaining meaningful traction.

Regarding junk products, they have been bad at at phones but Samsung should be fined for the atrocities they have produced in the tablet space. Looking back at their utter rubbish offerings I am embarrassed to see the Samsung logo on any top devices such as the Edge.

First iPhone ever: iPhone 4, I had it for two years.
Second iPhone (and to date): iPhone 5s, I had it for two years.
I feel confident I want to upgrade to my third iPhone, the 6sp, but, only for 12 months this time.

Wow, that's a pretty arrogant assumption of a post, firstly you've stated not one 16gb iPhone 6s buyer will want to use 4k video recording, then yet again you wrongly claim SD cards don't hold apps, and to top it off you state I don't understand.
So are you also claiming no one has bought a 4k television, because we buy DVDs over anything else, and are struggling with HD. That is a flawed assumption.

You seemed be strongly defending this, with little proof or sense. It's a flawed product as it has features that Apple has limited by design.

Yep, I'm defecting again, well I already haven't, switched back to a 6 plus a month or 2 ago. My prior experience was OS7 for the most part. I'll be up at 3am!

Well but an SD card can store those 4k videos, solving the dilemma or at least improving it.

Apple, I'm predicting, will sell boatloads of their "flawed" product. We won't have too long to wait to see what happens.

The iPhone is like Bic Macs @ McDonald's, millions of people buy them, even though they're no good.

Arrogant and asinine post.

The assumption is people with money buy products that cost more because they cost more. No.

Ignorant and irresponsible people do that. People on reality TV shows do that. Real people that have money, that make smart decisions, make smart investments. Smart investments, for a large part, Intel investing the least amount of money for the most reward.

Again...poor taste that statement.

Read the post. No rich people do not buy a product because it costs more, it's the poor people that do it. The student, the unemployed, the kids will all do want they can to buy that iPhone before ensuring they can feed themselves.

Also whilst Apple costs more their products are excellent not junk. It's a combination of having a good product and being the most prestigious in their field. It's why people buy unreliable automatic watches for £20k +

People will real money do not buy Android phones a full RRP. I'm a multi multi millionaire have about 5 phones at any one time not to mention 5 or more tablets but would never pay close to RRP for the Edge Plus or Z5( the phones I want to get soon). Yes I know about investing.

Well I'm in for the 6s Plus SG 64gb. Not risking the 6s after the battery on the 6.

The Apple Store app on the iPad was up way before the browser.

A bit disappointed that there's no kind of fast charging but I do like 3D Touch and think it'll be hard to go back to a standard interface after a while.

Camera upgrades are wait and see but I'm optimistic.
