I bought a new LTE Series 4 Watch and XS Max in September and had been saying I was going to hang on to my 10.5" Pro for another year before upgrading. I caved on that idea weeks ago and ordered a new Pro today. My wife is......annoyed.
If I do end up buying, this will be my only Apple purchase this year so not quite that bad.

Still in two minds, though. Top storage 10" class LTE was ~$1030 just two years ago and now it's $1700 for top tier 11" ($1900 for 12.9"). And really, with tax, that's almost $2K for 11" and over $2K for 12.9 and I'm not even buying any accessories.

Yeah I ordered while that lady was talking about cursing in the background and being all nervous.
  • 12.9” 256GB SG LTE
  • Apple Pencil 2
  • Folio case in Charcoal
  • USB-C to SD UHS-II adapter
And now I’m pissed about the RAM only being 6GB on the 1TB model. Debating whether I should downgrade to 11” WiFi 1TB for future proofing, which still costs more. I hadn’t planned on buying this year but my wife needs a 10.5” with keyboard cover so I figure I might as well upgrade and she can have mine.

256gb 12” here, to replace my day 1 iPad Pro. Happened to be awake at 4am this morning so ordered one :)

Not that my three year old one is slow, but I need more space. New pencil to replace old one of course.

11” 256GB Cell
11/7 delivery
(Will cancel should in-store pick-up reveal itself.)

I ordered space grey 11” 1TB with cellular. I was very tempted to order the larger one, but I really need to hold one to decide if it is just going to be too unwieldy. I’ll go to store on release date, and possibly do an exchange if I like the larger one.

Also got 2nd gen Pencil and the Smart Keyboard.

I only used 32 of my 64 GB on the 10.5”, so I went with 64 GB on the 11” too. I went WiFi only with keyboard folio and Pencil 2 and it was about $1100 in the end. I think this design and UI language is going to be around for awhile and I prefer iOS to macOS these days, so I didn’t mind spending the money. As for my spouse...she’s building a bridge to get over it. Slowly.

I’m sure I’ll wind up doing this, but I think I can hold off until I at least see one in store. At that point, I’ll be screwed. I’m such a sucker.
I’m right there with you. Any time Apple redesigns ANYTHING, I have to have one.

Caved like I knew I would. 11" 64GB Silver + No. 2 Pencil checking in. I preordered from Best Buy so I could have release date delivery since Apple has slipped into late November.

I rarely buy myself presents so I'm okay with this. Really looking forward to drawing on an upgraded Pro.

I ordered an 11" 256 GB WiFi silver iPad Pro w/Applecare for the wife this evening, and a third party case from Amazon. The iPad is supposed to be delivered by Nov. 07.
Should be quite an upgrade from her 2017 model iPad.

I usually wait out redesigns until more apps have been updated to support the new resolution. Storage upgrades were an automatic upgrade though — until now, that is...

I'm in the market for a couple of 10TB HDDs and maybe 1-2TB SSDs this Black Friday so I'm definitely reconsidering how much I actually want to upgrade the iPad. The new iPad is really just a luxury purchase. My current 256GB Pro 9.7 and 512GB Pro 12.9 still do everything I need them to. Don't think I'll go less than 512GB, though.

Amen. :) Apple has that effect. I almost caved in buying an iPhone XS Max or XR after just a year with an 8+.

Caved in on two 11" iPad Pros though. "It was time" after 4 years with iPad Air 2's. Went with Best Buy as well.

Ordered 11 and 12.9 256GB Space Gray WiFi only, Apple Pencil, and SG folio. Will decide which one to keep when I get to see them in person.

I ordered a refurbished space grey 64 GB 10.5" Pro from Apple. $583 total. No chance I was spending $217 more for Face ID and .5".

Me :D

12.9 Silver - 512GB - LTE - pencil & keyboard. This will be my first IPP (have an iPad Air) and I can’t wait. Super excited  and it will be here 11.7

A very pricey year with Apple ... I have the Xs Max & upgraded from series 3 AW to series 4

I have to say there was quite a bit of sticker shock with the IPP ... I was hoping that prices would have gone down or remained the same :(

ORDERED: Personalized 11-inch iPad Pro Wi‑Fi 64GB - Space Gray, Personalized Apple Pencil & Smart Folio for 11-inch iPad Pro - Charcoal Gray

Personally, I wouldn’t get the 1TB just for the sole reason of it coming with 6GB RAM. If I was in the market for a 1TB iPad, then sure, 6GB is a bonus. Otherwise, it’s not worth it.

If there is actually 6GB RAM in the 1TB only, then it’s a could indication that 6GB of RAM will trickle down to the other configurations in the next year or two. Apple needs to justify the 2019/2020 iPad Pros one way or another since the 2018 iPad Pro is the redesigned generation.

I ordered a Space Grey 256, 12.9. Missed the release date of the 7th, it is supposed to deliver on Nov. 13th. I also go the pencil and case. Wish I was getting it next week, but oh well.

Thought about it all day and just preorder from B&H, 11" Pro 64Gb space grey. They won't ship in until after the 7, good thing I'm not in a rush to get it, plus no tax to cali.
