I think it makes a difference. I"m using the FineWoven case on my 15 Pro. When I switched to the leather Bellroy case the phone felt heavier and bulkier in my hand. It's the reason I went back to the FineWoven case and love it.
I’m using the Apple silicon case, would the fine woven case be lighter?

I want to Apple Store to pickup the regular size 15Pro but after seeing how nice the pro max is I decided to try it out. I have about a week left to decide if I continue with it or go back to 15 Pro.

I do love it, the screen is big, the keyboard is a joy with two thumbs and the battery life is amazing really. It’s just a better device to work on.

On the downside, it’s bloody heavy, I can feel the pinky fatigue which is not something I ever thought I’d say haha. It’s very hard to operate or hold with one hand only and I do have big hands. It also doesn’t fit very well in the back pocket of a standard jeans.

I think I’ll try the pro for two weeks next and decide which one to keep.
I personally have never had anything smaller than a Max since that variant of iPhone arrived.

I can never go back to a smaller screen personally and the 15 Pro Max has now somehow managed to not only get down to being the lightest Pro Max ever released (even lighter than 11 Pro Max) but it also still retains the gloriously large screen while reducing the overall size of the device.

The 15 Pro Max is by far my favourite Pro Max, glad Apple managed to make it a lot more palm friendly.

According to online info the 15 Pro FineWoven case weighs a little more than the silicon case so apparently what I'm feeling is the difference in bulk only. My 14 Pro was a little heavier and bigger and that may also be why my 15 Pro feels so much lighter now.

No regrets here. Came from a 14PM and I love the weight difference. Thinner bezels and camera are great too. I’ve had zero issues since launch day and I couldn’t be happier!

I have been using the PM for a week and have a Plus arriving tomorrow. The PM is definitely lighter due to the titanium but I still am not thrilled with the weight. I care a lot about cameras but the Plus got the main upgrades I wanted. I am not one bit bothered by 60Hz aside from my feeling that it’s almost criminal that Apple held back.

Anyway. I just want to see it the lighter Plus will win me over or if I’ll stay PM. I used to always want the latest greatest but I’m getting less bothered.
you can tell the lighter difference, for sure!!

The Apple 2 week window is a gift and a curse. It’s amazing they let us make as many swaps/changes as we want in this 2 week window, but it also makes us 2nd guess every choice we make. If it wasn’t there, we’d just get on with what we have and we’d be fine. Ive gone through this myself, where I also 2nd guess colours or phone sizes etc. Don’t think too much; you went to the Max for a reason. You’ll be fine.

Loving my iPhone 15 Pro Max, but I can definitely feel the "weight" of the decision in my hand! It's like a mini dumbbell
Whether an iPhone 15 Pro Max feels like a "weight" or not is all about what one came from. I came from the 14 P to the 15 PM and the feel transition was easy. No case.

Haha so true… I actually didn’t know there’s a two week buyer remorse period. I went in to get the pro but took the pro max instead, just as I was about to leave the Apple girl told me I can return it within two week. lol rich people problem…

Actually it is a good solid marketing protocol; even better when longer like Costco's 90 days.

E.g. I pay top dollar for Apple's best devices but the ability to return after testing hugely facilitates the process. I just returned an iPad Mini and an iPad Pro because neither is the upgrade I need (yet). But Apple always gets minimum $2K out of me every year so the returns are probably very cost effective to Apple just to keep me in the ecosystem.

It’s perfect from Apple’s perspective. I was speaking from the side of the consumer. It’s great for us but also a big part of why iPhone enthusiasts on MacRumors are so indecisive and easily dissatisfied

I disagree. IMO it is great from the consumers' perspective. What is not to like about weeks of no-questions-asked returns? Folks that are indecisive and easily dissatisfied are that way because of the way they were raised or whatever, not because Apple made them that way.

If you read my original post, I said it’s a positive and negative. Of course it can be a positive but it’s also the reason you see people constantly 2nd guessing phone colour or other silly things, and that’s because they know they can always return it. All power to you if you want to use that window (there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that), but I’m very sure people would be a lot more satisfied with their first purchase if they didn’t know they could return it multiple times over.

why would you need to try a mini 6 and a iPad Pro lol

Jeans pocket is such an American problem to have heh imo.
As for the weight, just try to use iPad Pro 11" for a little over a week. You will thank how light iPhone 15 Pro Max is. /s
I would pick larger size any day even tho I use iPad Pro way more than iPhone of any sort, for majority of my stuff.

After a couple days back with the pro from the pro max, I am relieved to be back to a smaller, more manageable phone, but that pro max was a beautiful device for sure.

It’s possible I could have gotten used to it over time, but there are so many benefits for me to have a phone I can use with one hand. I could pull it off with the max thanks to the Loopy case, but it wasn’t easy or comfortable.
