Who will be keeping their iPhone 12 series this year?

Bye bye beautiful iPhone 12 Mini form factor… battery doesn't last more than 9 hours of enthusiast use 💔
So during those 9 hours of intensive use, you don’t have access to an electrical outlet? Get an Apple 20W fast charger for 19 bucks, and you never have to worry about the battery again. I’ll never understand why people always make things more complicated than they need to be…

Launch day 12 Pro Max had a few issues (green tint, battery degradation recently) but I'm loving my replacement unit and am really on the fence about upgrading this year. It would be an additional month's payment of ~$67 to be eligible for an upgrade through iUP+ tax of around $130 + $50 for a new silicone case for a new phone that might have 120 Hz (not worth it), new 5G modem (I don't use 5G as it is anyway), and slightly upgraded cameras.

If I get wowed I might upgrade. The rumored features are just not that exciting to me

Keeping my 12? I'm voluntarily stuck at keeping my sunflower yellow XR even though it's too hefty to use as a phone. It's my go-to for mobile use on WiFi, while my SE still does actual phone duty. Meanwhile my eyes continue to age so I
I'll probably be a candidate for another XR sized phone when the SE loses support and I do finally upgrade. I find myself using the zoom feature on the SE more as time goes on, but the XR display is a good size for me and that screen is easy on my eyes.

I got an iPhone 11 which my mother wants (she’s using 7+) - so definitely upgrading this year. Might go for pro version this year, especially if it features 120hz refresh

Thank you for your concern! Unfortunately not, I work outside with multiple shifting locations every day, and the phone is a part of my work day.
Looking foward to reinvest in a bigger model with bigger battery, but oh sweat Mini form factor, I'll miss you.
And power banks kind of invalidate the beauty of having a small sized smartphone.
I’ll never understand why people always make things more complicated than they need to be…
Maybe people have different challenges than you have anticipated? Is it that complicated? I choose a phone that didn't suite my use, not so complicated. I got seduced by something small and fit, and now I regret 😅

External battery that charges the phone while you work. You can get one that is pretty small and will recharge your phone completely. I don’t think I could ever sacrifice for a smaller screen after having a plus size for nearly two years now.

I will be keeping my iPhone 12 Pro for at least a 2 year cycle to much (lacking of innovation) Did this with My X Pro and feel the cycle is dry.

Better screen the better I would have a bigger than max phone I just hope with the smaller notch they put back the batt % number

My wife and I are still rocking 11 Pro Max models. We skipped the 12. Will we upgrade to the 13? We'll probably have to wait and see. No definite plans to upgrade at this time.

I’m actually about to upgrade from the 11 pro max to the 12 pro max
taking advantage of t mobiles new promo
1k credit on trade in towards a 12
my wife and daughters will be going from a xr to 12 pros

currently with Verizon, no 5g, and my bill will be $60 cheaper per month
win all around

Still on my much loved iPhone 6s. I had planned on upgrading to the 12s/13 but with the announcement that my 6s will be getting iOS 15 I just may wait. I never understand how some of you can upgrade phones every year. These phones are way more then most here ever need or use. It's an addiction for some for sure.

I’ve had my Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max since launch and I have to say, that I still love this device as if it was the first day I unboxed it. I love the color, the size and the weight of my phone. My Pro Max is also jailbroken on 14.1, so I know I’m missing out on the improvements after 14.1, but it’s still not enough to get me upgrade my software and phone. I didn’t watch WWDC, so I don’t know what Apple is bringing out in iOS 15, but I guess I’ll find out whenever I upgrade later in the year. Even though Apple will be launching new iPhones this year, I am sitting out upgrading this year and have 0 issues upgrading in 2022. Is anyone else planning on not upgrading this year?
I’m sitting out. I know for me going to a mini 13 from the 12 will not change anything. Heck it’s going to feel the same and look the same as the 12 mini. I haven’t even taken many night time pics which was one reason I upgraded, I was all excited about the camera. I’m looking into gaming laptops more lol. I might upgrade my 2017 11 iPad Pro to mini-display 11 Peo I need a bigger memory.

I am on a yearly iPhone upgrade system and have been since my first iPhone which was the 6 Plus. I only like the big iPhones. There are too many year-over-year changes to miss on. Even when others lament no change, there is change they don't realize, frankly due to the fact they haven't compared them in person which makes their stance null and void.

I don't do Apple's upgrade program, I just do the trade in method and eat the difference, which usually isn't that much. And since I'm always trading in a year old phone or less, it's not a problem as I always get max trade in value for them.

I'm happy to go two, three, even four versions between new iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches. But not iPhones!
Sell your phone instead of sending it back.
