Looking for the bargain if I remember correctly.
Exactly. I’m pretty confident the mini will live on as the next se. it only makes sense. Face ID tech will be cheaper. They have the design already. In two years I bet they’ll come out with it

Those stickers really work well! I like it.

I can’t see any logical reason for me to not keep my iPhone 12 for another year? I think phones would get boring very quickly for me if I were changing them every year, not to mention a waste of money.
I know I don't get it. I'm just glad I lost the mentality to upgrading after the XS max was minimal improvement and didn't change my use case from the 8plus. That changed it for me. I was upgrading yearly before that.

I hope we see some bargains. I am not sure if I will upgrade to the 13 mini day one. We have about 10 weeks or so before order day. Plenty of time to make a more informed decision.

Oh for sure right. I definitely want to buy a 13 sometime if rumors continue to indicate the 14 won't feature a mini. I'll just incase my mini in glass and display it 😁

I normally upgrade every year to the flagship iPhone. But starting with the normal 6.1 iPhone 11 I haven given it more thought. If the 12 Mini wouldn't have been released, I think I would have stayed with the 11.
This year I will upgrade for sure , but not sure when exactly, because of only one simple reason. 13 Mini will be the last Mini for a long time. Normally I wouldn't have upgraded, only if TouchID would have been reintroduced. I love the 12 Mini and some better battery life and smaller notch and a bit better camera are no reason for me. But as said unfortunately the 13 Mini will be the last. So I will upgrade to it for sure because I want the latest Mini available if using it for a long time, don't know when I will upgrade though. Earlier if TouchID is included, later if not. Maybe next year then. It is not about the money itself though. This would never be a reason. But I think more about what I spent my money on, saving or upgrading to a not so different device...

I’m not sure. Honestly, phones these days in general day to day use, there’s no difference between say the Xr/11/12 besides maybe a speed increase (I realise there’s spec bumps and added features etc I’m just talking about average joe day to day usage).

I LOVED my blue Xr. The colour was just spot on for me.

The 12 is the first phone I’ve ever ordered without seeing first and I wish I had because while I love the shape, performance and features of the phone I really don’t like the blue. I’d have gone for the pro if I’d have seen them before hand.

I have friends with an Xr and some with an 11 and honestly they all perform just as well as each other. I’m not a spec nerd. The 12 does everything I could want and more.

Basically if there’s a colour I like in the 13 line up then I’ll upgrade. It’s really come down to that for me.

I tell myself every year I'm not going to upgrade and I was pretty set on waiting this year as the rumors are pointing to much bigger upgrades coming with the 2022 iPhone. As rumors and leaks have evolved it's come out that the major changes this year are going to be battery, screen and MagSafe related, which is going to make it really difficult to stick to my word (again).

I don’t think the differences between devices have been significant enough to justify an annual upgrade for quite a few years now. I’m glad I’m not the sort that puts pressure on myself for things like this and happy I can enjoy a phone for 2 years or more.

Can you break down your user name into individual words? Just when I think it makes sense, it stops making sense.

Thanks!
Sure thing LOL :)

Here's an article that deeply goes over the name.
