Blurry pictures hide telling flaws and suspicious spacing on some watches in this thread lol.

Ah.

Thus, so then, perhaps it is not merely a question of lacking some skills in pictorial composition and mastery of a camera, but a suggestion that such blurry images may have been deliberately composed……..

This offers us a whole new perspective on this issue.

It takes a special kind of person who not only buys fake watches, but then proudly shows them off. An entire box from what I can see.

If you had ever held a Patek in real life, you would know how horrendously bad those fakes are.

I had to sign up and post just to call you out. To those who might be confused, simply ask this guy for reference numbers and look those references up yourselves. All the ones in this box are too hideous to even resemble real Patek dials.

Especially that 4th one with the skeleton dial. That looks like he got it off a guy on the street for about $40. Even $40 is too much.

Even the leather straps look like garbage.

Even the faux leather box you have all those watches in is trash.

Come on dude.

Edit : One more thing Syed Rizvi. If you're going to attempt to lie about owning several Patek Philippe watches that include high end complications and super complications, you should probably learn a bit more about the tastes of Patek collectors.

Trust me on this one, no one who has millions of dollars worth of Pateks keeps them right next to mediocre garbage from Tag Heuer. It's just not the same kind of person at all. If you want to really try and fool someone who might be tricked, you need to diversify your fakes. Your fake Pateks need to be in the good company of fakes of other high end brands like ALS, AP, GF, VC, and maybe a few others. Don't put them in a box with Tags and MBs. Come on now.

So you got caught with terrible fakes. I guess if you had high quality fakes, you could have fooled a decent amount of people, but yours are really bad. Based on the Syed Rizvi name, I would guess that you're from Pakistan? Karachi maybe? Going down to all those countless stores that sell fakes in Sadar? A good friend of mine is from Pakistan and after asking him about the name, he said that the fake watch market in Pakistan is HUGE. So I'm guessing you're one of the countless Pakistani boys with fake watches trying to pass them off as real.

Better luck next time.

yep 46mm. bought it without trying because it fancied me. hopefully it wears well or i will trade it for a BP Top Gun or perhaps BP regular chrono.

It is quite large at 46mm but it's 9mm smaller than it's new big brother.

Yes, I had read about these watches, and recalled that the watch was unusually large (even by our current standards, which tend to favour large watches).

Well, @Mr Kram, long may you enjoy your purchase.

Will post them one by one...that's my collection ...Tag, Montblac, pathek philip and more Tag... :)

Sorry, but where is the Patek?
I don't see one there.

*edit: I guess you're talking about 'Pathek philip,' not Patek Philippe.

thanks for the input. that is my second choice right now. i wish they would have kept the navy with the white dial. would probably have to get a hornback strap also.

I like the old safari more than the new one, but out of the two you posted, the second gets my vote.

I've gotten a lot of feedback now in 10 minutes here and elsewhere. Now I'm leaning navy. What do you guys think about wearing with a brown hornback strap?

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is a brown hornback strap? Perhaps you could post a picture?

More to the point, is there any good reason why it would not be considered appropriate?

OEM brown leather strap with the "horn" bump as pictured on the first watch.

Why do you wish to wear it with the blue dial?

Well, I am not crazy about 'bumps' in watch straps. Is there any reason you cannot - or do not - wish to wear a blue leather strap? I have seen some stunning blue leather straps on some watches worn by colleagues of mine.

Don't mind the blue rubber strap at all. I've had a rubber clad ROO before. However, if I wanted to dress it up, I was just tossing around the idea. I'm also not opposed to a blue leather strap. The bump doesn't bother me and I'd prefer to stay OEM rather than aftermarket.

Fair enough.

My personal preference - with that watch - would be a very good blue strap - or, failing that, a black leather one. Personally, I am not really all that keen on the brown horn back, but, maybe, that is just me.
