new iPad Pro 23rd march

book it in your calendars

I'm hoping the iPad Pro 12.9" is a bigger upgrade than last year. I'm still using my 2017 iPad Pro, I think this years iPad Pro will be a nice upgrade for me :) (especially if it comes with the rumoured Mini-LED display).

Think we may see

Mini led
8GB of ram
Touch ID in power button
A14x
Yep that will do it for me. I'm not sure about this new Magic Keyboard tho, I don't know why Apple would introduce a new one (as rumoured by Jon Prosser).

The only thing I can't think of is if it's to do with adding things like a function row, maybe for apps like Final Cut Pro? which they could introduce later in the year (WWDC comes to mind).

yeah I hope it's a choice and they don't make you buy it for it to work on the new iPad.

If Apple are not changing the design of the iPad Pro this year, I don’t understand why they would update the Magic Keyboard.

Which means they may well have changed the design of the iPad (if they needed a new keyboard design). Here‘s hoping that’s in fact the case, because it may mean the screen is miniLED and may also mean they’ve strengthened the design so unresponsive screens will be a thing of of the past.

According to the leaks, the design will be the same. I guess we will find out at the end of the month (an event is rumoured for the 23rd).

A new Apple Pencil has also leaked, if this is all true it looks like Apple are going all out this year. A new iPad Pro with Mini LED, Magic Keyboard and a new Apple Pencil.

The iPad Pros are not cheap, but I am definitely looking forward to the new one, with my 2018 handed down to the family.
Yea that’s exact what I’ll be doing with my 2017 iPad Pro. It will go to my mum. This years will be a nice upgrade.

I need to upgrade from my 2017 iPad Pro as well. I too hand my older gear down to kin or local kids. Probably going to wait until the newest one lands in refurb shelves though -- i almost always buy my gear as an Apple's refurb-- so no need for any breath-holding by me or recipients of the old one either.

Nothing but rumors from leakers who have consistently been wrong on the iPad Pros and swore they were coming last November lol
Too many leakers have confirmed it, not just Jon Prosser but also Mark Gurman.
The event is said to be on the 23rd of March.

iPad Pro 3rd gen 12.9" still working amazingly well, won't be upgrading for another 2-3 years.
