Oh the excitement - I would forgive them not having RDNA2 if they give me 29-32 ;)

23" and 29"/30"?

Nice catch but it is still on the original invite. They only removed it and added different labels for the topic they mentioned. So for swift we have swift logo and for keynotes we have keynote app logo. I wouldn't read too much into it.
Its still For Fusion Sake "hello" coming with mind blowing iMac - substantial as Fusion :)

No more "Hello" labels... ;)
They also removed them from the website btw...

The keynote is live as well from Apple Park, I thought they might do a pre-recorded one. Also it will be streamed on their website as well as the developer app.

Maybe they need a 30 incher simply to have enough case space to fit what is in the current big bezel 27 comparably. A 27 with little bezel would be a tight squeeze I'm guessing, especially if they continue to taper the edges thickness.

I'm so pissed off, I've had a 27" screen for 10 years and have no interest in a stupidly small 23" iMac. I'm deperate to buy as my old iMac is totally dead. So bloody annoying, sitting like an idiot, waiting for a replacement.

Chill man! Talking about assumption and making conclusion about that! Worst idea ever!

Wait, see and then conclude! For Fusion Sake!

How do you explain only 1 new Euroasian model filing and all the 23" redesign rumours?

The rumors of what is expected to ship with these new models seems far too much for just a single Mac model - we have seen pretty much every Navi 14 and Navi 10 GPU rumored, for example, in both mobile and desktop form. And Apple has never not offered the iMac in multiples sizes since it went to LCD displays with the G4 in 2002.

There is no way the ~24" model is going to be launch with anything other than an Intel CPU so this is not going be "the ARM model" at WWDC and the iMac Pro will be the only "Intel model". *shakes head*

If Apple does not normally file a new model number for spec bumps to existing models, then it is possible that the ~24" model will be a new design and the 27" model will look the same as it does now and just have new CPUs, GPUs and other internals. I don't believe this will be the case, but if Apple plans to move the iMac to ARM sooner rather than later, then I could see the ~24" being launched with Intel to show the "design language" for a future ARM iMac and then when they do make the switch in a year or two, offer a larger companion model.

I think they do some fair bit of recycling of model numbers in the Eurasian DB. Replacing the 27 inch with a 23 inch is unlikely (a common 25-26 inch might do it). Axing the iMac Pro price to nearly iMac territory is equally unlikely. I guess the 27 inch will be first through the gate.

WWDC will not be boring this year.

AFAIK mode numbers don’t get recycled unless it’s a spec bump and even minute changes like the keyboard switch on the new MBA warrant a new model number as they are technically a different device with different designs

Has there been any Apple product with a longer chassis design than the 2012 iMac?
It's been 8 years, even the Mac Pro and Mac mini have gotten redesigns in faster time.

Not to my memory, and I'm 51 & a former owner of the gen 1 Macintosh.

Further, the 2012 "slim aluminum unibody" looks the same as the 2009 "aluminum unibody" except for the edge thickness, so I would extend you're excellent point by saying it's looked largely the same for 11 years.

Wait and see in few days. Driving yourself crazy about something unconfirmed leads to an unhappy life!
The likelihood of your implied scenario is minimal at best. So just chill and wait. Then, when you find out that you have stressed for nothing you realise that you could have saved yourself some grey hair and extend your life little longer :)

I'm sure there will be another 27" or bigger later but when? I've been macless for 6 weeks :(
