Lol there you are Azrael...

Hello krell100.
I have to say. I really enjoyed the WWDC2020 Keynote.
I'm always mostly interested in the strategic direction of software.
And the Hydrogen Bomb Apple released at the end? Mac ARM. :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Shockwave! ! !
Apple Mac ARM will be the biggest game platform on the planet. The biggest software platform on the planet. Access to millions and millions of iPhone apps and iPad apps that will run natively.
Breathtakingly seismic. (My eyeballs went widescreen...)
'Mac will never....have touch...' (*High pitched voice from naysayers...)
'Oh yeah?'
'I say, boy...I say...didja...see those 'touch sized' Big Sur...redesigns of MacOS?'

macOS Big Sur on the current iMac just looks awkward.
Explains why everyone during the WWDC demo were using Pro Display XDRs instead of iMacs to showcase this thing.

One of the bits in the State of the Union mentioned that they'll be bringing a 'family of SoCs' designed specifically for the Mac. Given the emphasis is on designing purpose-built SoCs I'm excited at the prospect of a Mac Pro level AS chip.
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/apple-mac-arm-cpus-2020-intel,38668.html based on this report from Feb 2019, this year may be the last Intel refresh.
While the disappointment is real of not getting any HW announcements today, I think the future looks really bright and exciting for a new era of AS machines.
I'd be really interested to see how they deal with thermals
I mean look at the list below.. based on some key points, I feel like we can expect highly performant Always-On devices with relatively lower power usage and better webcams etc.

That's packing *SOME* tech' into 'Apple Silicon.'
This augurs well for Mac ARM.
I was blown away by the Metal 2 Tomb Raider demo on the A12z.
And the Mac Mini. What's this? A Mac Mini Dev' machine with 16 gigs of ram, 512 gigs SSD for £500 WITH 'THAT' Tomb Raider Demo level of iGPU?!!! :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Can Intel iG on the Mac Mini do that? (Stares into space...*)
And 3 '4k' files running...on a Mac 'ARM' Mini? Can an Intel Mac Mini do that? :O
