How many of you use a Bootcamp?

I regularly use it for gaming on my iMac. It's a bit annoying that bootcamp will be dropped, but I'll probably just buy a gaming PC and buy an ARM mac for the rest of my non-gaming use when I upgrade in the future. I like having the option to play games in 5k when the game isn't too demanding and the iMac's IPS screen is beautiful to play games on so it's a bit disappointing that bootcamp will be dropped, but oh well...

Apple actually cut the prices by exactly 3% here in germany giving us very unable prices ending in 35 or 20 cents. (germany cut VAT from 19% to 16% due to corona for the coming six month)

It's gonna be soon, no doubt. But I'd rather wait for the ARM one, considering how long we all have waited already, and the ARM iMac should also be coming out really soon.

You got to look at next week.

If someone is geek benching it, someone has a review copy. Unless this is fake (i don't know if it's possible to fake geek bench, with the odd GPU it might be a option) or Apple suddenly brings geek benches themselfs for the lulz.

I think I can wait another four to five weeks. I already put together a nice Mac Mini setup with a 27 inch Dell 4k monitor. Really tempting, but I‘d rather wait and see what a new designed Intel iMac looks like. I don‘t need that much CPU power and would go with the base model, but I know I would always look at a new designed iMac and think: Isn‘t that a nice looking machine.... 😅

I needed this machine to be released two month ago. ^^ Like, legit needed to get work don, without corona this would be a catastrophe.

I know, I don‘t really have a problem. I‘m a teacher and school won‘t start for another six weeks. But I thought a new Mac would be a nice project for my holidays. My Windows PC is seven years old and I believe it is beginning to think „should I really start this program? Hmm, maybe the user didn‘t really wanted to start it and hit the wrong icon. Well.......... ok, I think I should start it.“
And a Mac at home would be useful as I‘m using an iPad Pro at school for almost two years now.

Earlier today when i first saw that tweet, I did think to myself if someone took the time and faked it. We will never know but as they say time discovers truth.

Will it be next week? I have given up. It would have been nice to be out last week so I could have had it as part of my business expense as our financial year ended yesterday.
