Still not available. Here is his profile and I see nothing about iMacs. He claims to be working for Macrumors: https://twitter.com/samifathi_
He does work at MacRumors.

Here, let me take a screenshot.

It will be a surprise if Apple release the bigger imac too....a real, big surprise
But for the 24" not a surprise since that model is long waited...probably with M1 or M1x and no apple custom gpu needed
So dont expect the bigger redesign imac

It would be odd if Apple introduced a redesign on the low end model only. Launching with the top end shows the redesign in the best form for maximum impact.

Ok, based on what Mark Gurman said I'm doubling down on no iMacs next week.
Mark has very accurate track record and when he says not to expect anything big and at the same sentences says if iMacs are next it would be big then we now know its official :)

So, as Mark indicated - Next week just iPads, some fluff and thats it. Event over

iMac at WWDC

Guys, I want this iMac as much as you do but the writing is not there yet.

Is it one nanometer off or something? It seems perfectly relevant because they look almost nearly identical.

For those who believe Apple could release a 24" iMac next week, but a 32" iMac has to wait until WWDC or the Fall, I would like to know why you believe this as I don't see why they could not announce both next week if they are ready.

The arguments against a 27” replacement release:
  • No discontinued configurations / huge sales / long lead times on the current 27” like the 21.5” has (you could have a counter-argument here by mentioning the iMac Pro)
  • Suspicion that the more powerful GPU that will presumably go into devices like the 27” iMac / 16” MBP will take more time to develop, and isn’t ready yet

Yeah, its not happening. 24" could be the only "big IF" and thats only under the premise that the bigger one is going to be another league (like M2 variant) so 24" getting M1 variant now with "ok-ish" performance.

But, knowing Apple I would be really surprised if that actually happened. If there was no redesign then yeah, I could see that but otherwise the chances are super slim.

People are obsessed and impatient but iMacs need a bit more time. WWDC is perfect reveal if we get Lifuka and other goodies along with it. If not WWDC then Fall with M2 variant is the most likely scenario.

Personally, WWDC reveal with orders next month would probably make the most sense to me.

At this point, we don't know the cycle as the transition threw everything out so once we know how Apple will be doing these (ie, iPhone first or Mac first on new chip) then we will know the schedule

A problem with releasing a redesigned 24", but not 27", is it would kill sales of the larger machine. And I think it is highly likely Apple make a lot more money with the 27" than they do the 21.5", or would on a 24".

Considering the 27" uses Intel CPUs, the only people buying it now are those who need to run x86 macOS and Windows code natively or support macOS / Windows VMs. So in that regard, it doesn't really matter what size the M-series iMac is since it will appeal to a different audience (one that does not need to run x86 or who are able to do so under Rosetta).

In other words, people buying a 24" M-series iMac will not be interested in a 27" Intel iMac, anyway, so the 27" sales are likely already falling and will continue to fall as more people move to M-series iMacs.

These people are just guessing.

All of the rumors and leaks align with the new iMacs being announced next week. Reliable leakers have just recently chimed in about the existence of these products, and have hinted at what is coming.

No, that's not a realistic problem. The same could be said about both M1 MacBooks that put to shame the Intel MacBook Pros that need to wait nearly a year before getting replaced with M-series variants.

Apple could well release just one 24" AS iMac for now, but given that reliable leakers have very recently chimed in about the larger model, I think both are currently on the way.

Pretty much this. Apple does not care about cannibalization one bit during a transition like this. They can't.

But they will want to avoid people who may have purchased the more expensive 32" AS iMac buying the 24" model because it is new and attractive and the only thing they offer. Apple is usually very careful not to release the cheaper version first if the more expensive version is right around the corner. Unless the 32" AS iMac is still a year away, which I do not believe at all based on leaks/rumors, then both will get announced together.

The pundits are starting to weigh in:

Gurman says "nothing particularly innovative" will be announced next week. He "confirms" new iPad Pros and that the 12.9" will have MiniLED. He does, however, state that if the iMac is announced next week, it would be a "big deal" so... o_O

lovetodream seems to be implying that we will see Air Tags, new iPads (Pro), a new Apple Pencil and new iMacs.
