In a coffee shop.
I have been able to get it for a few years now, either Total Wine or Bevmo carries. There are quite a few local brew pubs who have it on bottle.

Good stuff!!

That is great to hear.

While I like all of the Belgian quads, I think that Trappistes Rochefort 10 is probably about the best of them; it is certainly better than St Bernardus 12, (which is very good).

That looks like heaven. Minus the Heineken. Man, do I hate Heineken. I'm no beer snob, though. I've got a half case of Coors Light sitting in my garage.

I forgot about a beer I found this fall I was a huge fan of - Sierra Nevada Flipside Red IPA. I thought it was great. We had beer donated for a work event and had a tasting there, had some, and fell in love. Only one store near me sold it.

If youre in the area, I highly recommend any beer from Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon, NY. They make incredible Sours.

Nearly as enjoyable as the next!

A bit of a citrus after taste, but pleasant enough.

Dark red in a green bottle with a white label. Does that help?
I picked it up from Waitrose.

Maybe castle something?

Er, no, not really, now that you mention it.

Try a beer by Buxton if you ever come across any of their products.

Kiwanda Cream Ale.

What a great beer from Pelican Brewery! I really like this one and have had a growler of it that my buddy picked up for me when he goes up there. Their Tsunami Stout is also really good. The brewery is on my bucket list of places to go!

Had a German Pilsner beer that was new to me, PFungstadter Hell. It was pretty good. Not the best, but good.

Also had an Armenian Lager style beer called Kotayk. It was just ok, I would have it again, but it won't be on my list of must have beers.

Rhett, I wasn't too hot on it but that could have been a result from what I had to eat earlier affecting my taste buds. I'll have to try the Kiwanda again to see if my earlier mental notes still hold true. It did have wonderful mouthfeel, though. Almost felt as dense as a porter with a slight oiliness but it finishes relatively crisp.

And I am of the opinion that there are few pleasures in life of equal to sitting with some good friends or colleagues over a bottle or two of fine wine.
Unless it's riesling, and then I'll keep it under my jacket with a straw hidden in the lapel.

On a good Riesling, yes, I think we may be in agreement.

I have found, when I had the growler and it was less than a day old, the taste was different, in a good way, compared to the bottle version that I had a few a few weeks.

I don't know if the longer it sits, it loses flavor or it's "punch" if you will. But it is one of my favorites from that brewery. It almost reminds me of a Boddingtons English Pub Ale in taste, finish, and over all feel of the beer.

You nailed the finish part!
