Have just opened a bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape to accompany dinner tonight, and it is breathing away gently to itself.
Having a Hop Bullet! Nice, the first IPA I ever had was in Napa, CA up on the Silverado Trail. I wasn’t much of a beer guy, way back when. But you never forget your first love or IPA

I must say that I am more than partial to this sublime nectar; I do hope that you enjoyed it.
Going for a local beer tonight. Topling Goliath Supa Sumo Double Pale Ale. Very, very nice! Sometimes I envy those that report on their local beers. But today you get to envy me

Enjoyed a few glasses of a French Sauvignon Blanc with a friend (who sipped stout) this afternoon.
Quaffing a favourite of mine “cuvee des troll” a very nice Belgian brew and sitting outside yea!!! Hard week, last week of regular classes, next week exams and then they are off for 5 weeks of research interning in various startups or NGOS. This weekend looks promising too in terms of weather and beer.

I spent some pleasant time admiring the beer cabinet in my local off licence this afternoon, and some beers were recommended to me, too.
it's an IPA from a local So Cal brewery. supposedly just released this week and in hot demand.
Does Californian - especially "So Cal" - IPA differ from the IPA style found elsewhere?
Today, I spotted a beer from Buxton (an excellent British brand) which purported to be a "So Cal style IPA".
